Excellent food, friendly staff. We had a special grilled meat platter for two (very good value, I'd say). The food was varied and the dishes were well-presented. It's a shame the dining room we were seated in wasn't the most welcoming and was a bit chilly.

What can I say?
A family atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff.
We had dinner with a coupon that cost about €40, including coffee and liqueurs.
The grill was very good, highly recommended.

Hard to define, it says trattoria but once inside it seems like a bar, they advertise the American with taglieroni, we tried but the best thing was an appetizer chosen from the menu... I don't know, they have to decide what it is... good beer.

Da Zia Gio': a charming family name and a warm, welcoming location in a charming hamlet of Cameri, in the Novara area. A delightful evening in the chilly late November weather. To warm us up, we were served: 1) a delicious platter (house specialty) for four with polenta, local gorgonzola, wild boar tapulon (a traditional dish from nearby Borgomanero), sausage, and mushrooms; 2) a Dolcetto di Ovada, fresh but already full of character. High quality, and very kind and attentive staff. I didn't take photos because the convivial atmosphere among friends and the excellent restaurant, in a province of substance and few frills, doesn't require one. The powerful mental images suffice.
Fairly priced. Worth revisiting...

A small trattoria serving fabulous aperitifs at a reasonable price. Fantastic staff, beautiful and friendly women. If you find Ben there, you're guaranteed a laugh. Zia Giò is a guarantee of healthy, delicious food.
