Even though we're from Modena, we pass through Piacenza at least once a month, and ever since we discovered it by chance, our must-visit lunch spot has been Trattoria da Vittorio. They serve lunch until the ungodly late hour of 3 pm. They always welcome you with a smile and kindness, and the generous, tasty portions show their dedication to the finest ingredients and the joy of cooking excellent dishes.
The menu is well-structured, and there are always excellent off-menu options, so you're spoiled for choice.
Reservations are recommended; it's always busy...there must be a reason.
Highly recommended for those looking for good food and friendly, courteous service—in short, a place that makes you feel at home.

After a stroll through the historic center, stopping at Da Vittorio is a must for a casual lunch featuring traditional cuisine. Recommended! A+++

I returned after the management change, found a very clean restaurant, polite staff, and the food has improved a lot. The carbonara was definitely better than before, even though it was a big portion for me. The tiramisu was good and not too sweet, which I really enjoyed.

Hi, we are a couple passing through Piacenza, we like to eat well and a lot, compliments to all the staff at this restaurant, they are very welcoming and smiling, (which few find in 2026). The food is spectacular.

A lovely dinner at this little place on New Year's Day. The girls were very kind, the food was good, and the bill was fair.
Nothing exceptional, but definitely enjoyable and recommended.
They were also very kind to children.
