A slightly retro place, but that's the beauty of it. Typical cuisine, all dishes based on wild boar are excellent.

We went to the da vildo restaurant and it was a negative experience. if you want to eat typical Maremma food, don't go to vildo for the rest. The dough for the gnocchi was good and the ragu was forgettable, it didn't taste like wild boar at all. The dessert was quite good.

Vildo è una garanzia!!! Cibo eccezionale!!! ambiente fantastico!!! una vera trattoria di altri tempi! In cucina si trovano Marcella e la sua mamma(sorella di Vildo)! Preparano tutto a mano, con grande cura e amore! Vildo pilastro portante del ristorante interagisce molto volentieri con i clienti, condividendo con chi vuole le sue esperienze di vita. Cibo eccellente e portate molto abbondanti! Ottimo veramente tutto! Ogni anno che torniamo a Castiglione andiamo a trovarlo! Non esiste +1 trattoria così! Bravi ragazzi! Complimenti!

30/10/2024: I am referring to the review below by Mr. Alex: At Caffè 60, pizza with vegetables has always been made by cooking them in the oven together with the pizza... every pizza chef has their own method, you may not like it but so far no one has ever complained! Everyone has their own tastes but when writing reviews we have to be careful what we say! The vegetables were not raw but rather, as I have already said, cooked together with the dough! For the rest, I apologize if it seemed like there was a pistil in a courgette flower, how much attention... in any case I'm sorry for your terrible experience, when you have to criticize you are always on point... we'll make a point of not having you as our friend anymore. clients! 20/10/2024: I stopped by this restaurant because I was hungry on the way home. I came in without any information, but I had the most delicious meal of my 5-day trip to Italy! This is a restaurant that really suits Korean tastes!!! An untidy but friendly restaurant with a friendly smiling owner, really, really delicious tomato pasta, seafood stew, and tiramisu!!!! Wow, the tiramisu was so crazy... and the tomato sauce... 😭 I think I'll keep thinking about it. Koreans? Be sure to visit here!!!

15/11/2024: Rooms are big and comfortable. There is the choice to cook using the kitchen provided in the room, there is an extra fee to pay for this, but I think it's worth it if it's family. The lady is nice and talkative. I was there for work so the location was not really important to me. Suggested. Prices are fair.
