Trattoria da Ubaldo In Lucca

It's the classic place that attracts you with its slightly out of the ordinary decor, fast service, but unfortunately the food is rather mediocre, desserts that cannot be classified.

The tordelli are excellent, the tagliata is sublime and the dessert is very good. I recommend going because in addition to eating very well, "Ubaldo" and his staff are exceptional. TOP⁹!

Trattoria da Ubaldo, what can I say...A SHOW FROM BEGINNING TO END!!.... A truly great place both in terms of decor and the staff, truly friendly and nice...the food is excellent...what more could you want!! I recommend it, it's an experience to do!!! The number 1 in Lucca... Excellent food, delicious desserts, impeccable service. 'Bizarre' place but recommended.. top evening. We will return... Anyone who doesn't try it doesn't understand a f@ck 🤣

A very cool place, very well decorated and well-executed, and hosted by Marco. Besides the cool location, the food was very good.

Very particular atmosphere, you have to like it! Very friendly staff, always ready to entertain you. The design of the place is characteristic of the theme of the place itself... I must say very original. It is not a "traditional" restaurant but on the contrary, if you want to spend an alternative evening with your friends (who have to be in on the joke - I won't tell you anything 😉 ) it is the right place!

Went to dinner there 2 times: food was really good, one time we had a really funny and genuine waiter! Can fully recommend and will definitely visit again when in Lucca.

Suggerito dal nostro host e stuzzicato dalle recensioni, eccoci da Ubaldo.Ambiente allegro, irriverente, scanzonato.Servizio disinvolto veloce e fattivo.Abbiamo diviso un tagliere per una persona, molto buono: formaggio top, ma anche la bruschetta e i salumi A seguire maccheroncini all' arrabbiata, come piacciono a me ( agliati e con molto peperoncino) senza acquetta e con buon pomodoro.Come secondo abbiamo scelto la revelina, piatto di carne tipico con contorno di peperoni che abbiamo gradito tantissimo.Vinello della casa e amaro finale (offerto).Conto onesto viste le porzioni.Che dire! L' atmosfera è quella un po' del bar Turrisi di Castelmola e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto della esperienza: mancia meritatissima.Probabilmente ho trasmesso al meglio la mia approvazione, tant'è che il titolare ci ha fatto un gradito omaggio. Ubaldo Top!

Trattoria ad un passo da piazza dell'Anfiteatro, non essendo molto grande conviene prenotare. L'esterno lascia un po' titubanti (scheletro appeso, cartello "aperto" da benzinaio, ecc.), ma entrando il luogo carico di ogni cosa sui muri e sulle mensole incuriosisce e il bel sorriso dei ragazzi (Icaro, figlio di Ubaldo, e 2 ragazze) che ci accolgono ci mettono a nostro agio. Ordiniamo: -2 tortelli casarecci di carne all'affumicata buoni ed abbondanti, -una saporita rovellina alla lucchese con polenta, -una discreta melanzana alla parmigiana, -un porzione di patate al forno molto buone, -1 bottiglia d'acqua -1 bottiglia di vino rosso -2 caffé da rivedere Costo a testa € 35,00. Sicuramente merita un giro e se siete fortunati potrete incontrare Mario, un vecchino simpatico che mi sembra passi spesso da Ubaldo.
