We had a good time, excellent food, only one flaw and that was when my wife asked for tripe from the list of starters, she was charged double as a second course on the bill, just because the waitress wasn't clear because when she asks you if she has to bring it with the others' second courses, it doesn't mean she has to bring it as a second course, also because in the second course menu there was no mention of tripe. So the doubled cost seemed like a steal to me, also because if it works like this next time I will ask them to bring me a second course as a starter, so I would have to pay less for it. 😅🤣

**A culinary Sunday at Da Toso in Tricesimo**
Last Sunday, as I often do, I visited Da Toso, a charming Italian restaurant in Tricesimo. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm atmosphere that comes from the exclusively Italian visitors.
We started our meal with a delicious starter consisting of finely sliced lardo, delicate prosciutto and spicy salami, complemented by various cheeses. Particularly noteworthy are the wonderfully tender artichokes, which round off the taste experience perfectly.
For the main course I chose the filletto, which was prepared on the open grill. It was heavenly and cooked to perfection - juicy and full of flavors. We also enjoyed an excellent house wine, which complemented the food perfectly.
The crowning finale were the desserts, which were not only delicious in terms of taste but also visually.
A big compliment also goes to the service, which was extremely nice and charming. You immediately felt welcome and well looked after.
I highly recommend Da Toso! If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a warm ambience, this is the place for you.

An unmissable restaurant for those who love grilled meat, cooked to perfection and with an unparalleled flavour. I recommend booking in the room with the fogolâr furlan turned on: it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for fully experiencing the Friulian tradition. The photos hanging on the walls tell the story and soul of the people who gave life to this place, making the experience even more authentic. Excellent food, evocative environment and a strong connection with the roots of the territory. Definitely a place to visit and recommend!
