The pasta dishes were especially fantastic and perfectly cooked. The interior is a bit cramped, as they make the most of the space, but this adds to the authentic atmosphere. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff is exceptionally friendly and extremely efficient. You should expect a short wait around lunchtime, but the delicious food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended!

A genuine place, with a Roman spirit. The food is good, traditional, and homemade, with a sufficiently extensive menu that's far removed from tourist menus (for example, they don't make pizzas, as it's a trattoria and specializes in family recipes).

We always have at least one meal at Da Tonino when in Rome and we are never disappointed. This time we had dinner there 2 times, always arriving at 7pm to make sure we are seated as there are no reservations. Service is always good and everything we have tried on the menu has been great, but the veal spezzatino and veal with roasted potatoes are our favorite dishes. The pastas are all very good too with large portions. Many locals eat here and prices are quite reasonable.

We had to wait a long time to get in. The pasta was very ordinary and tasted the same as in other restaurants. It was a shame we had to wait so long.
