The food is good and the prices are fair, at least for the food. I'm only giving it three stars because, as a wine expert, I think the markup they apply to their wines is excessive and dishonest. For this reason, I won't return and I don't recommend it.

Cozy place with food that tasted homemade! Ordered the eggplant pasta and beef meatballs, and they were both full of flavour, really filling, and value for money. Went at 1pm and didn’t have to wait for a table. Staff were attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Will certainly come back when I next visit Rome!

Good local restaurant. Small menu but very good quality ingredients and excellent cooking. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Pleasant terrace. Be aware that this popular spot fills up quickly.

A restaurant in the heart of the historic center that's anything but a tourist trap: the artichokes were divine, while the steaming pasta was superb. Fantastic dessert! Go without hesitation!

Il Vecchio Torchio

12/10/2025: Last Friday, a group of old friends and I spent a lovely evening at Vecchio Torchio. The pinsa were excellent, well-cooked and carefully garnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was well-maintained and clean. Highly recommended.
25/08/2025: A well-maintained and welcoming venue. An excellent choice for a dinner with family or friends. The ingredients are excellent, and it's always worth planning ahead to enjoy a pleasant evening with friends and great food.
