The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the setting is elegant and quaint, with stone interiors and a stove that warms the room (it was snowing outside that day).
Every single dish reflects the passion and care the entire staff has for both the ingredients and the customers.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant yesterday.
Both the appetizers and main course were truly excellent, both in quantity and price.
The service was absolutely second to none.
The dining room was beautifully decorated and welcoming, in a setting that needs no further description.
I was truly surprised by the appetizer, the ricotta and mint frittata.
Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Trattoria da Salvatore, in Petralia Soprana, is one of those rare places that manages to make time stand still.
The management is familiar, authentic, and unpretentious: limited seating, like in the old days, and for this very reason, an intimate, warm, and deeply welcoming atmosphere.
Outside, it was snowing, slowly. Inside, however, there was true warmth: that of the blazing fire, the walls that tell stories, the aromas of the kitchen that smell of home and the mountains. Sitting at the table here means feeling sheltered, not only from the cold, but also from the rush.
The ingredients are locally sourced, chosen with respect and awareness, and every dish speaks the language of tradition, without compromise. Nothing is shouted, nothing is constructed: everything is sincere.
Salvatore has worked for 44 years with the same passion as always, with love, dedication, and a care that is evident in every detail. It's not just cooking: it's an act of cultural resistance, a way of preserving and transmitting a heritage.
