By chance we found ourselves in this trattoria welcomed in a fantastic way by Salvatore, a delightful and helpful person, excellent food, impeccable service, practically to be returned as soon as possible.

Locale storico di Petralia Soprana, con il suo storico gestore e titolare. Rinnovato negli ultimi anni, ambiente accogliente. Tutto ottimo dai formaggi di bufala siciliana (buttate e mozzarelle), crostini di pane, funghi trifolati, grigliate ed al forno con formaggio. Ottima la carne (salsiccia, maiale con purea di verdure e patate al forno, pasta fresca con capperi olive e pomodoro, posso disossato speziato). Buono il vino della casa. Prezzo onesto.

We had two adults and two children for dinner. The restaurant, characteristic and very welcoming, is located in the center of the town of Petralia Soprana. Its owner Mr. Salvatore welcomed us and led us to our table. The excellent food and the welcome made me happy Led to give a 5 star review

Driven by the positive reviews, we decide to stop for lunch in this restaurant. Extremely quiet and welcoming environment, kind and attentive staff, very good food. Experience to repeat!

As a savior you will eat divinely, hospitality and friendliness reign supreme in this small restaurant in the village of Petralia soprana. The macco.di fava beans? Definitely the best I've ever eaten. Honest and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. A tip: book in advance especially on weekends and holidays

Ritornato dopo alcuni anni abbiamo pranzato nel rinnovato locale che mantiene intatte le qualità che negli anni lo hanno fatto apprezzare. Prodotti di qualità e del territorio ben cucinati e con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Menu’ che offre ampia scelta tra antipasti, primi, secondi, ecc.. Apprezzatissimi consigli del signor Salvatore sempre presente disponibile e cordiale. Servizio abbastanza veloce ed impeccabile. Consiglio di andare e di prenotare prima.

01/02/2025: Thank you for a wonderful dinner!!! Sardine meatballs, spaghetti with squid ink and bucatini with sardines as I remember only at my partner's mother's house. A little bread to mop up the sauce and a good white wine to accompany it. Absolutely recommended!
30/01/2025: I am very disappointed with this place. After reading so many good reviews I decided to book a table for our group for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately the food was not as good as I thought. The octopus was a bit chewy and the fish and seafood combo was completely tasteless and the fish was overcooked. The worst thing was that the langoustines were not cleaned. It's a pity that I chose seafood - maybe other dishes are better. I only liked caponata. Also we didn’t feel any atmosphere there .Service wasn’t great. There were 12 of us and only 3 were happy with that restaurant .For that reason I can only give 3 stars.
