This time, I ordered farfalle pasta with a rich, flavorful red sauce made from bacon, onions, and tomatoes, served with a hummus soup. Besides chickpeas, the soup also contained small pieces of tubular pasta, making it very satisfying. I highly recommend the caramelized pear. The whole pear is candied, with a crispy caramelized surface, and served with a caramel dipping sauce – the most amazing dessert!

A perfect spot for a quick lunch in the middle of the market, but less improvised than other places, with table service and a fully visible kitchen. It's popular with Florentines. The staff's cheerfulness and kindness are noteworthy. I only had a ribollita, a medium portion, and appreciable home-style cooking. I'd go back!
