Very busy shop! It took awhile to get seats for two. We were seated between the other two tables. Literally Back to back with other customers. Love their peposo! Good service but could be better, and great price for food!

Trattoria da Rocco is an institution in Florence! The place is unique in its kind: you dine sitting at the same tables with unknown people, in a welcoming, friendly and absolutely fun atmosphere. It is an experience that combines the taste for food with the joy of conviviality. Rocco himself is an iconic character, known by all, who knows how to make the meal a special moment. Today, Christmas Eve, I enjoyed a delicious tomato soup, followed by penne with bacon, a tender pork loin with roast potatoes and a creme brulee which was the icing on the cake. All accompanied by bottled wine, laughter and jokes in the company of people I didn't know before, but who seemed like old friends. An unforgettable experience, full of joy and authentic flavours. Ten out of ten for this place which represents a true Florentine soul. If you are in Florence, Rocco is a must!
