Located inside the market. Typical Tuscan dishes. Portions are average, but everything is really good. Get there early because they don't have many seats.

Returning after a while, it's still an excellent trattoria, serving home-cooked food and traditional dishes. I especially recommend the peposo and the purée (made with potatoes). The atmosphere is family-friendly, where you can share a table and chat with complete strangers. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. It's not a tourist trap.

A historic venue with unique features, an atmosphere reminiscent of the old Florentine restaurants, and fast, efficient service. Tables are set to the side of the waiters' path, so as not to interfere with staff or customers. This historic family-run business traces its roots back to the legendary Rocco, who still works there today and delights customers... an icon of the Sant'Ambrogio Market!

Great market experience (it seemed as if only Italians have their lunch there). The food was good but not splendid. Usually crowded, you have to wait and spot a seat.

Rocco's Trattoria has long been a local landmark. Italian food is generally excellent, but Rocco's is twice as good. I had the chance to see him in person.

I had lunch at Trattoria Rocco at the Sant'Ambrogio market and fell in love with the place! The atmosphere is authentic and lively, just like in old Florentine trattorias where tradition and authenticity reign supreme. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and immediately makes you feel at home. The food is simply delicious: simple yet flavorful dishes, cooked with the freshest ingredients. I tried the pesto lasagna, the meatballs in tomato sauce, and the fried ones—spectacular! The house wine is also excellent and pairs perfectly with the dishes. The prices are very fair for the quality and location. It's one of those places that reminds you why you love Tuscan cuisine: authentic, sincere, and made with love. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Florence!
