Even though we had booked, we had to wait a good half hour before sitting down. Average food, small portions, exaggerated prices, no menu to see the costs. We paid €18 for 3 meatballs and €15 for a small plate of gnocchi in an informal setting. What can I say? We thought it was more honest. The choice needs to be evaluated.

There were four of us and we ate a sauté of mussels and a spaghetti with clams and asparagus which was very al dente and very abundant, all very good, the white wine we took had a good flavor but the color left something to be desired, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in San Benedetto del Tronto

Ristorante Piccolo Teatro

31/08/2025: Probably one of the best restaurants for typical local food. The place is very small but quaint, and the acoustics aren't the best when the restaurant is full. The menu offers two tasting menus (€37 and €40), which are very affordable and offer a comprehensive experience of typical local products. The mandarin sorbet is very good to finish. Highly recommended!
30/08/2025: Excellent welcome and attentive service. The chef's dishes are always excellent and varied (with fresh, seasonal ingredients). Reasonable prices. One of the best, if not the best, restaurant in Ascoli Piceno. Returned again after a while. Everything was delicious, and the usual wonderful welcome and service.
