Excellent food, friendly owner and staff, excellent service, I went several times and will definitely return I recommend everyone to try

I had read the reviews of this place and was convinced that I was going to eat in a place where quality reigned supreme. Unfortunately, on the seafood appetizer, I cannot say that expectations were met and from reading the menu, neither. Too many seafood products carried the asterisk. Once the oyster was removed, all the rest of the appetizer was obvious and did not impress either in terms of goodness, quality or freshness. Then, it is interesting to underline that whoever is appointed to take command must not do his own thing. He must let the customer decide because he is the one who pays for what he wants to order and not for what is imposed on him with the subterfuge of misunderstanding. White wine is served at a temperature of 8/10 degrees and it is logical that the basket is needed to keep it fresh, especially in this period. You shouldn't hear the sentence: the basket is only provided for some labels because it gives the impression of rudeness and lack of professionalism. On the downside: the spaghetti with sea urchins was truly excellent. Two people served and looked after the customers and the youngest demonstrated sensitivity, professionalism and care for the diners. The other, unfortunately, seemed to have lost these qualities. The three stars are for the spaghetti with sea urchins which I recommend to anyone who decides to go and taste them.

The place you don't expect, the typical trattoria of the past, the owner very kind, friendly and approachable, his father served us and in the meantime he told us crumbs of his life, of his experience, basically after a few words, just to get to know each other and to understand what we wanted to eat, he served us an infinite number of starters, all fish-based, one better than the other, and by bringing us each dish he made sure that they were to our liking and in fact everything was delicious, at every course served at the table you could see his passion and his heart, the desire to do despite the many years (52 he confided to us) since he opened the restaurant and who works to serve and prepare delicious dishes; once the starters were finished I was already full , we had 3 pastas between 5 of us, he recommended the pasta with clams, I've never had such a good one, and a pasta with grouper sauce, top!!! To finish with a very good lemon sorbet and a cinnamon liqueur, even a good homemade one! Congratulations to the father and son!!

It was amazing. Best seafood dinner of our entire life. Giuseppe is too nice and honest. Incredible price. We couldn't eat anymore because of how much food there was. Excellent quality, fresh fish and excellent (huge) portions If I return to Catania I will immediately go and eat at his place. Thanks Giuseppe

Abbiamo preso un giro di antipasti di mare, uno spaghetto alle vongole, un pesce arrosto, il tutto accompagnato dal vino della casa, e per finire il sorbetto al limone. Tutto era super fresco e ottimo ad un prezzo onesto. Gentilissimo il proprietario nel consigliarci le pietanze.
