Unexpected place, family run, the classic trattoria with few but excellent options, the owner is friendly and helpful; the price is more than honest, it's a shame it's only open on Sundays for lunch.... Which is perhaps a strong point: working out of passion!!

We visited this restaurant somewhat by chance in December; the place is really nice, well looked after and clean inside. The friendly and smiling staff; we had two excellent seafood first courses and were offered equally good liquorice. Very honest prices. If we were to return to Bergamo it will certainly be one of our culinary stops. Advised

We live in the area but we didn't know this place yet, we opted for a Sunday lunch where we could taste local, homemade and quality dishes. Family run, very well cared for and with attention to the diners, we will certainly take this restaurant into consideration for other events or to recommend to friends and relatives.

Un buonissimo pranzo domenicale, con piatti caserecci, tipici e di qualità. Abitiamo in zona ma non conoscevamo ancora questo locale, sicuramente lo terremo in considerazione anche per altri eventi e da consigliare ad amici e parenti.

Poco cibo vegetale. Lunga attesa la domenica a pranzo. Pare che volessero farci consumare a oltranza, insistendo su antipasto + primo + sorbetto + secondo + dolce + caffè. Troppo cibo!

I have wanted to come to this restaurant for more than 20 years (when I lived in the area). And only open on Sunday for lunch. Finally managed to come with my family and friends for a great lunch at Renato's on a trip to Italy. Casoncelli and roast with polenta - typical Bergamo cuisine - everything was excellent.

Quiet and nice environment, Renato, the super kind owner, from wanting to eat a second course, we ate starter, first course, second course and dessert. Everything homemade and genuine at a super honest price! I think both the staff in the dining room and in the kitchen are family-run. One of us was gluten intolerant and had the pasta made INSTANTLY gluten-free (with a little extra waiting, rightly so). Absolutely recommended!!

16/02/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, which is not to be taken for granted, first scarpinoc and second polenta and wild boar. Starters coffee, wine one bottle every three (good Nero di troia) Real surprise
12/01/2025: Everything was really excellent, a warm welcoming place, after 25 years I returned, I was really satisfied, now I will return soon to definitely taste the next menus. Congratulations to everyone indeed.

02/12/2024: Questo locale mi è piaciuto davvero molto! Ambiente gradevole, buio ma non troppo e con poltrone comode. Apericena ottimo, con pietanze buone e varie, proposto a prezzo ridicolo (€5 + il costo delle bevande ed eventuali extra). Unica pecca da "anziano": la musica come temevo troppo alta, ma questo non pregiudica il mio giudizio assolutamente positivo!
30/10/2024: Bar e ristorante poco fuori dal casello di Dalmine. Ampio parcheggio esterno. Servizio impeccabile. Oltre ai vari cocktail consiglio la pizza
