Very quiet atmosphere, very polite staff. The food was very good and cooked to perfection. Clean and tidy place. Very low price, 80 for three people.

Open only on holidays. Everything is freshly prepared in-house, from the cured meats to the homemade pasta and the excellent meat dishes. Excellent! Stunning location nestled in the Bergamo hills. Mr. Renato... A true gentleman, just like his son! Excellent value. Highly recommended!

We ate lunch here today for the first time and had a wonderful time. The owner, Renato, is wonderful, friendly, and kind. The food is excellent, homemade, and filled with authentic flavors you won't find anymore. The place is clean and has a stunning view from the windows. We had such a great time that we're booking for Ferragosto (August 15th) and can't wait to return. Thank you and goodbye to Renato, his sons, and the chef.

Wonderful lunch. After a tour of Pope John's birthplace, we stopped at the trattoria run by
Mr. Renato, a very kind person. The food was excellent, all homemade, from pasta to dessert, with local cured meats and a relaxing view. I highly recommend it. See you soon.

My wife and I were there 01.06.25 after a visit to Sotto il monte ... what can I say ... courtesy, quality and a very well-kept and clean place ... Mr. Renato, super kind, advised us to try the casoncelli and the pasta called foiade ... everything fresh and handmade like at home ... the second courses of veal medallions with porcini mushrooms and rabbit with potatoes and polenta ... I don't remember where I tasted such quality as in this restaurant ... congratulations ... I will definitely return because you are truly top ...

Se dovesse capitarvi di passare da Sotto il Monte (BG), vi consiglio caldamente questa trattoria: è stata una vera scoperta!
Un piccolo ristorantino a conduzione familiare, immerso nel verde, accogliente e autentico, dove ci si sente subito a casa.
Cucina tipica bergamasca dal sapore genuino, con salumi e pasta fresca fatti in casa e prodotti direttamente da loro.
Tutto delizioso, dall’antipasto al dolce! 🤤
Il signor Renato, tra l’altro, è una persona davvero simpatica e straordinaria.
Posti così, purtroppo, si trovano sempre più raramente, sostituiti da locali con una cucina più commerciale e di qualità inferiore.
Approfittatene, non ve ne pentirete!😋😁
