An old trattoria serving delicious homemade dishes. I didn't see a menu, but the dishes are listed verbally, and you can sample several. There were five of us, and each of us ordered two half portions. We ended up sampling up to three different first courses each. The options included herb risotto, tagliatelle with mushrooms, pennette with sausage, and delicious pumpkin gnocchi that were worth the whole meal! Side dishes are available buffet-style, and included in the cover charge, I'd say. The side dishes included boiled potatoes, salad, radicchio, beans, boiled chicory, Russian salad, sweet and sour onions, and probably more I can't remember. For the main course, we ordered a taste of venison, and it was served with white polenta. Drinks are also included in the cover charge: they bring still and sparkling water and wine to the table by default. Everything was delicious, and the price was reasonable for the service (about thirty euros per person)!

If you want to eat home-made food without too many pretensions... you're in the right place... in Rome we say ZITTO E MAGNA... but it would be nice to know how to say it in Friulian... Anna, the owner, is a delightful and easy-going person like all her staff and her husband... highly recommended.

Everything was delicious! I had tagliatelle with mushrooms and a veal cutlet, and my companion had pasta with sausage and stew, both served with polenta. Vegetables are self-service, and everything is included in a €15 per person menu. Availability varies daily, so you can always enjoy seasonal and varied dishes. The owners are incredibly kind; we'll definitely be back when we're in town!

Locale caratteristico da trattoria familiare. Servizio cordiale e molto familiare: è come essere a casa dalla nonna. Cucina buona e casalinga. Non c'è menù alla carta, almeno a pranzo, ma c'è comunque scelta di 4 primi, 5/6 secondi e verdure a buffet. Non all'altezza degli altri piatti il dolce. Prezzo super considerate le porzioni abbondanti. La titolare va conosciuta!

A highly original way to serve: cart service. First courses, of your choice and straight from the pan, are always freshly made and vary depending on what's coming out of the kitchen. Second courses are also available, but they're obviously already prepared and hot, with an unexpected selection. Wine and water are served at the table. Vegetables are served as a buffet. The lunch price is fixed and well worth it.

The exterior is beautiful, covered in ivy. Inside, it looks a bit stuck in the '70s, but it's well-maintained and welcoming. The owner who served us was extremely kind.
We had tagliatelle with mushrooms, pumpkin gnocchi with salted ricotta, veal with tuna sauce, and roast beef with arugula and parmesan. The dishes arrive pan-fried, in generous portions. The homemade pistachio and ricotta dessert was truly delicious.
The bill was €90 for three, slightly above expectations given the ambiance, but the quality and portions made themselves felt.
Outside, there's also a small garden and a bar area that add even more atmosphere to the place. Overall, a pleasant experience, with home-cooked food and an old-fashioned welcome. I'd gladly return, especially for the feeling of eating in an authentic, no-frills place.
