Very local simple eatery, which is one of the nice food features of Palermo. The food is good but not the best - I found the sarde a beccafico a bit dry, and I have had better grilled octopus.

This charming, family-run trattoria is a true local gem, open only for lunch. You won’t find many tourists here, but you will enjoy delicious food at genuine local prices. We savored an outstanding sea bream and tender squid — both absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for an authentic dining experience.

A true Sicilian experience in a typical trattoria! Super traditional atmosphere, very kind waiters, we were looked after with elegance and kindness, and the pasta with sardines was delicious.

Very tasty food at super reasonable prices. The spaghetti is highly recommended 😊👌🏽 The service is very friendly. We arrived around 1:30 p.m. and had to wait a bit because it was very busy.

Ieri siamo stati in questa trattoria. Il Sig.Giovanni è un oste d'altri tempi, pacato professionale e molto a modo. Il locale e l'arredo sono anni 70. Il Cibo casereccio e senza pretese. Tutto quello che abbiamo preso ci ha soddisfatto. Un esperienza da ripetere. Vi consiglio di prenotare è molto frequentato.

Si quieres sumergirte en una auténtica trattoria siciliana del pasado, si quieres compartir la mesa (y el ambiente) con la gente real de Palermo, si quieres comer buena cocina local (gastando muy poco)... es difícil encontrar algo mejor que esta auténtica e histórica trattoria. ¡Tienes que probarlo! P. S. Llega temprano o haz una reserva si quieres evitar esperar en la fila.
