It's clear that the stars were given because we're talking about a trattoria, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. A unique place! From the outside, a noisy little door doesn't invite you in. Inside, it's a typical trattoria where time has stood still. You'll have to wait a bit for a table, but it's worth it. Mr. Giovanni and Mr. Pino will welcome you, but don't waste their time because they don't have any. The menu is spoken and features typical dishes from the Palermo tradition. Try to try as many things as possible because it's worth it! The wine is either white or red... rosé if you mix them😂. The portions are generous, just like when you used to eat at grandma's! The homely flavors and Mediterranean aromas. Try to make friends with Mr. Pino, who will look after you and try to accommodate you in every way because, despite having been there for more than 30 years, he loves this job even if he doesn't know it. Mr. Giovanni is a man from another era who could teach Education at the Sapienza University of Rome...a true gentleman! We went twice during our 4-day mini-vacation in Palermo, but if I return tomorrow, it will be the first place I eat. One of the best meals of my life! The food was incredible. Our server was so kind in sending to the table whatever they thought was their recommendation. This place was suggested to us and we would also recommend to anyone, the best food we have had in Palermo. We had the swordfish rolls, the ricotta cake, swordfish, spaghetti, And caponata. Must try!

Ieri siamo stati in questa trattoria. Il Sig.Giovanni è un oste d'altri tempi, pacato professionale e molto a modo. Il locale e l'arredo sono anni 70. Il Cibo casereccio e senza pretese. Tutto quello che abbiamo preso ci ha soddisfatto. Un esperienza da ripetere. Vi consiglio di prenotare è molto frequentato.

cuisine succulente locale , calamars moelleux, en salade ou chaud , pâtes à la sardine excellentes , service très sympathique, patron très professionnel et chaleureux, le dessert typique de Sicile , les cornets remplis de mascapone ? de crème ? Le tout servi sur des grandes tables d’hôte où on se parle ! Quelle ambiance
