Meravigliosa accoglienza per un posto fantastico tanto nel servizio quanto nelle pietanze, con i sapori che ti riportano ai pranzi domenicali in famiglia. Tornerò, a costo di vendermi la macchina o la casa ! Promesso.

Trattoria da Papà is een heerlijk authentiek Napolitaans familie-restaurantje. Op een volstrekt onooglijke locatie, lukt het hen binnen een warme en gastvrije sfeer te creëren. Niet in de laatste plaats door de hartelijke houding van de uitbaters (die overigens aardig Engels spreken, wat fijn was op de momenten dat ons Italiaans net even iets te hobbymatig was). Eten is er prima en zeer goed te betalen. Wijnen niet top, maar gezien de prijzen zeker acceptabel. In de totale context zij het ze vergeven en geef ik vijf sterren.

14/07/2025: Wandering around Naples on our last night in Italy, we asked for a recommendation on a fish restaurant. Boy, did we score. Ricotta ravioli with large Sicilian gambari, and a whole roast sea bream, both the special for the night. Our waiter’s recommendation on wine was excellent, as was the service. Can’t recommend more highly.
13/07/2025: This is a cosy restaurant in a good location. The fish is of nice quality, and there are daily fresh-market options. Good service and good wine knowledge.
