A pleasant discovery. Excellent dishes and a varied menu. Attentive and friendly service. Prices are a bit high, but that's the current trend. We'll definitely return, perhaps to try the pizza. A pleasant discovery in the Acilia area. It was a very hot day for lunch, so we stopped on the outdoor veranda and had a wonderful time, thanks to a gust of wind that picked up two minutes after we sat down. There were only eight other people around us, so much so that I assumed it was a sparsely patronized day. Only at the end, when I went to pay, did I discover that inside, in addition to the small entrance hall, there was another large room full of people who preferred the air conditioning to the breeze. At the right temperature, at that. We ate well. Excellent mussels, excellent traditional Roman and fish first courses. The fried fish was good. The house wine (€10/liter) was also decent: nothing exceptional, mind you, but I found it better than many other trattorias. The menu focuses on Roman tradition and offers a varied selection: 13 appetizers, 12 traditional first courses + another 7 fish-based ones, 7 fish-based second courses, and 13 meat-based second courses, 11 side dishes, and 5 desserts. In the evening, there's also a pizzeria and grilled meats. I'd happily recommend it: prices are in line with local competitors (for a mussel sauté, a paccheri pasta dish with prawns, pancetta, and pecorino cheese, a caprese salad, water, and a portion (⅓) of wine, I paid €42) but, in my opinion, it offers good value for money.

Very friendly, nice and clean place, excellent food, normal prices. I finally ate a carbonara worthy of the name. First courses Roman and non, second courses and also pizza. Worth it

A little expensive but everything very good

Very good food. Nice service! Only downside was that the cheesecake was frozen. But the service solved it. The cheesecake was very tasty though!

Siamo stati in questo locale di recente e, nel complesso, l’esperienza è stata altalenante. Il posto è piccolo e carino, ma un po’ confusionario, soprattutto nei momenti di maggiore affluenza. Il personale ha avuto un comportamento contrastante: un ragazzo non molto alto si è dimostrato molto educato e disponibile, mentre gli altri sembravano più frettolosi e disorganizzati. Nonostante avessimo prenotato, al nostro arrivo il tavolo non era pronto e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che sistemassero le loro cose, segno di scarsa organizzazione. La posizione del tavolo, inoltre, non era delle migliori, essendo in un punto di passaggio continuo, il che ha reso la cena meno piacevole. Una particolarità del locale è la presenza di un cane libero all’interno: a noi non ha dato fastidio, ma potrebbe non essere apprezzato da tutti. Passando al cibo, la qualità è nella norma, con piatti buoni ma non eccezionali. La focaccia che avevamo ordinato è arrivata troppo bruciata e abbiamo dovuto farla rifare. La cacio e pepe, purtroppo, aveva una consistenza sbagliata: invece di una crema avvolgente, il condimento risultava filamentoso e poco amalgamato. Il gelato, invece, era molto buono. Un punto positivo è sicuramente il menù vario, con tante opzioni tra cui scegliere. Un altro aspetto negativo è stato il servizio lento: abbiamo atteso 15 minuti per una Coca-Cola, un tempo davvero eccessivo per una semplice bevanda.
