Superb service in a typical Genoese trattoria, an idyllic pesto, never tasted so good, a typical place but worth trying... an experience of a cuisine worth trying .. truly good... traditions perfectly passed down

A lovely trattoria just behind Genoa's commercial port. Popular with dockworkers and locals. Authentic food cooked the way it used to be. Generous portions and excellent house wine. I had ravioli with venison sauce, tripe with beans, and stokke accomodated. I return every time I come to Genoa.

Very friendly family run business, great welcome, homemade food, fantastic lipstick cake, if it can be of any help I would change the bread. Excellent value for money. I would recommend it 👍🏼

You know I'm very reluctant to give out so many stars ⭐️, but at this Sampierdarenese trattoria in Genoa, the food is truly excellent! Typical Piedmontese specialties (today, for example, I'd like to mention the ossobuco with mashed potatoes, amaretti bunèt desserts, and zabaglione with biscuits)... Carefully prepared cuisine managed by a skilled old-fashioned chef! The place is welcoming, clean, and the price is in line with the quality! Fast and friendly service and courtesy! So, gentlemen, a "Munsù" trattoria! 👏🏼👍

09/02/2026: We were truly satisfied! Very friendly staff, a breathtaking sea view, and above all, excellent food. The ravioli with wild boar sauce were excellent, and the pork cheek was as soft as butter, truly delicious. Fantastic experience, highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
