Unpretentious restaurant, but where you eat well. The location leaves its mark as it is an old trattoria, but clean, the food is good, fresh and the staff and owner are affable, friendly and approachable. Ligurian and non-Ligurian cuisine. There is no menu: they list 5 alternatives for first courses and 5 for second courses. Obviously you will only find out at the checkout how much you spent.
Overall I would go back. I advise

Always a top place in an area that if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't even slow down. Always top food (pesto lasagnette, anchovies, liver). Very affordable prices. The only flaw was the door always open which made the air conditioning useless... highly recommended place

Family run restaurant. You eat as if you were at grandma's. The dishes are all simple but well executed. I had the chance to taste many things and we were pleasantly satisfied. Trofie with pesto, ravioli with ragù, roast meat, pappardelle with mushrooms, desserts... All simple but good. The place has few seats. The evening I was there the atmosphere was even more pleasant because of my son's party..
Prices remain in line with what they offer. A truly beautiful evening. Congratulations to the owners who know how to make you feel at ease. I recommend it to you.

Tradition, "regionality" (Ligurian/Piedmontese) and friendliness are best mixed together in this family-run restaurant with an ancient name (I frequented it for work 30 years ago!). Ask Barbara and Consorte to tell you about the dishes on the menu (verbally) where in my opinion the tripe in particular (without ruining it with other extra condiments!) and the PESTO with puff pastry or troffie are absolutely worth trying (even the stones would be delicious!). Don't miss minestrone, rabbit (if you can find them...) and the superb eggnog obviously made on the spot! With such excellences the price is a non-influential aspect... even if you paid in "Genovino"!

Direi che se vai a Genova e soprattutto da Sampierdarena dovrebbe essere un passaggio quasi obbligato....locale non grande ma familiare, servizio simpatico e veloce , prezzo direi nella norma...per noi è un posto dove andiamo volentieri

Ho pranzato con mio marito in questa affollata trattoria, prenotando all'1 e 35 per le 14.
Un buon menu ligure, molti piatti anche per noi celiaci: pur con una sola cucina, e piuttosto piccola, mi sono sembrati molto attenti, premurosi e gentili. Credo che la vicina farmacia Bassano, che li rifornisce di prodotti gf, abbia fatto la sua parte nell'informare e "spingere" sul senza glutine. Risultato: spaghetti sg al sugo di funghi (ma c'erano anche al pesto e al sugo di lepre) , cima (superlativa) con purè, un assaggio di baccalà accomodato, strabuono. Volendo, anche arrosto, polpo con patate e trippa. Anche il marito soddisfatto, e torneremo presto.
Organizzano anche serate a tema.
Gentilezza top. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
