Under the medieval porticoes of old Rapallo, in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from the Castle, a historic restaurant opens up like a cave of wonders, offering excellent cuisine. If you love traditional but very well presented and prepared cuisine and with some variations, "Mario" is the best. The breaded fried anchovies as an appetizer are excellent but the veal cheek prepared as a delicate braised dish is truly delicious.

Great food and even better service by Manuel and Francesco! We were searching for some time for a great restaurant in the city and finally found this gem. Even though the restaurant was full when we arrived the waiters organized a new, additional table for us. The food and the wine were very tasty. We especially liked the Pulpo fiction and the antipasti salad!

29/08/2023: Lo ricordavamo essendoci stati in una precedente vacanza ed abbiamo trovato tutto perfetto così come era nei nostri ricordi. Personale cordialissimo, servizio efficiente e veloce. Cibo gustosissimo, panini e focacce sapientemente farciti, patatine fritte rustiche gustosissime, seadas da urlo ed eccellente mirto ghiacciato. Prezzi onestissimi. Il tutto in una splendida cornice, all'ombra di una radura di alberi sulla splendida isola di Caprera. Siamo stati benissimo, ci siamo ritornati il giorno dopo e la signora alla cassa, bravissima, ha voluto regalare un lecca lecca a mio figlio. Grazie di tutto, ci rivedremo sicuramente.
08/08/2023: Ottimo fast food nella pineta di Caprera! Ci siamo fermati al rientro da una escursione e abbiamo mangiato un panino con hamburger ed uno con la cotoletta davvero buonissimi e pure belli grandi! Cose semplici ma fatte bene, così ci piace!

L'Operetta Osteria di Mare

04/10/2024: Last summer we went to the Operetta twice and had a great time. The dishes are well prepared and the group manages to cope very well with the large influx of reservations.
03/04/2024: Place with a breathtaking view. Fast and precise service. The staff is trained and very helpful. Very honest prices!
