My best memories of a family dinner one night in 1998, we enjoyed good and inexpensive homemade Italian food, house wine in a jug and an authentic Genoese atmosphere that I always want to return to one day.

If you want to eat something Ligurian on a budget, this is the right place. You're downtown. Excellent value for money, service a little long because there is a coming and going of incredible people, always full. The dishes are not abundant, I recommend taking both a first and second course..... All in all I was satisfied.

The restaurant is located in the center of Genoa, a stone's throw from Piazza De Ferrari. Very famous in the Genoese tradition as "Maria la zozza" unfortunately over time the quality of the offer has decreased. The environment has remained informal, very convivial, suitable for dinners with friends. The food is served in small portions and of sufficient quality. Sufficient house wine. The staff is very chaotic and rushed, they try to finish the service as soon as possible. In fact, one of the weak points is that the place closes at 10pm so as early as 9.30pm they ask you to complete your orders and then invite you shortly afterwards to go and pay, without the possibility of having a coffee and advising you to take any bitters at the cash register. Un alto rapporto qualità/prezzo lo può fare l'alta qualità o il prezzo basso. In questo caso è soprattutto per i prezzi che si viene a mangiare qui. Comunque, le trenette al pesto erano buone e abbondanti, le alici ripiene passabili, il tiramisù buono e il vino bianco rispettava le attese. Aggiungete una bottiglietta d'acqua e raggiungete 17 €. Il servizio è veloce e gentile. Difficile pretendere di più!

Este lugar me deslumbró en 2014 y volvi 10 años despues pero la experiencia no fue la misma. Quizá suceda que estoy mas grande y ya no quiero este tipo de lugares. Quizá sea que su dueña Maria falleció en 2017 y ahora hay otro staff El lugar es super sencillo y super barato. Una autentica Casalinga. Los platos abundantes. Comi un primo, un secondo, postre, agua y gaseosa por 20 euros. Pero la calidad fue muy normal. No tiene aire acondicionado.
