A magical, unique, and inimitable place!
We were there two nights out of two.
You can breathe and eat the authentic Genoa. I personally would leave every night just to return for dinner...highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant with really affordable prices. Come when it opens because even though it's a bit hidden, the locals know it and book tables! It's definitely worth the trip; you'll feel right at home :)

The restaurant is in a quiet alley. If you look through the door you will see two or three tables, but don't be fooled. There are places for everyone in the restaurant, as there is a second floor with a lot of tables! Mainly locals come here. If you want to eat local dishes - this is the place. The food is very tasty and cheap. They gave us a hand-written menu, which we couldn't read, so we ordered from the pictures on Google. I give 4 stars because the tablecloth had a big dirty stain, but they didn't change it for a clean one. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it shouldn't be clean!

What can I say? Wow... 😍 I'm so glad I got lost in the alleyways of Genoa and stumbled upon this trattoria. I had vitello tonnato with potatoes and a tortmisu for dessert, along with water, all for €10. The service was super fast, and the place was so cozy. I loved the atmosphere, the food, and the prices. I definitely recommend it if you don't want to cook and don't want to spend a lot, this is the place for you! ✨️♥️ You're welcome for saving your meal! 😎

It's still at Maria's, just like 30 or 40 years ago: popular in the best sense of the word. If you're lucky enough to sit at the long tables of the regulars, the conversation is always very interesting, peppered with subtle Genoese humor. The food is respectful of tradition, and some dishes are truly excellent. The price is half that of the various bistros that have sprung up like mushrooms. Everything is still very much Zena in a Genoa that's literally (and surprisingly, to me) overrun with tourists.

A wonderful, homey atmosphere. Meals are served very quickly. Friendly service. The menu is a challenge, handwritten in Italian, but the staff will explain what to order in English. A great place.

Posti ruspanti e genuini come non ce né sono più! La trattoria offre sicuramente una tra le soluzioni più economiche di Genova in un' atmosfera molto familiare ideale per mangiare bene in pausa pranzo o da turista senza dover spendere cifre astronomiche. Tovaglie a quadretti, personale gentile, menù dalle poche portate ma buone cucinate in modo casalingo. In questa trattoria ci deve andare chi sa cosa cerca e sa che può rinunciare ai fronzoli in nome dell' autenticità. Consigliato!!

La comida era increíble. El pesto con lingüina era tan sabroso, no amargo o demasiado fuerte. Tiramisu de postre era agradable y cremoso. El personal era genial.
