Excellent trattoria, open only on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The atmosphere is that of a classic western Vicenza inn. The cuisine is good, offering local dishes and, in my experience, homemade pasta. It's very popular, though a bit out of the way, but easy to get to. I recommend making a reservation. The price is average.

We stumbled upon it by chance one Sunday for lunch. We discovered a timeless place where we ate authentic food prepared with attention to the finest ingredients. We ate so much and left feeling light and satisfied. We were served quickly and with generous smiles from the wait staff. The owner, with her simple, down-to-earth approach, makes you feel like you're in the right place, where someone has selected the best for you. We'll be back every time we have the chance to pass through Montecchio Maggiore.

Beware of the perhaps excessively fast ordering process and the lack of a menu with prices. It's a good idea to ask for prices when the staff comes to your table to take your order.

We often go for special family occasions. There's a great atmosphere and the food is always good. Personally, the tagliata is my favorite.

I visited this place for the first time almost by chance. It's a place where you can rediscover the true, old-fashioned Trattoria! Everything is there, from the flavors, to the carefully selected homemade dishes, to the service, without the frills that sometimes overshadow the true flavor. Well done! Great prices. What a discovery!
