A well-known local restaurant. The pappardelle with hare sauce is excellent. Service is informal but attentive and friendly.

The house appetizer of mixed cold cuts with pickled peppers and mushrooms in oil was very good. The first courses, which I saw arriving at the next table, were special and plentiful. The sliced ​​beef with green onions and medium rare was very tender and flavorful. Various side dishes were very good. The red wine was worth considering. Grana cheese was brought without requesting it. All in all, the cost/benefit ratio was very favorable for the customer. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dinner for two. The duck bigoli were excellent and plentiful! The tagliata and guinea fowl were superb, as were the side dishes! Total cost €70 with water, wine, and coffee. A complimentary liqueur was much appreciated at the end!

Everything was delicious, the place was welcoming and above all away from the traffic and noise.

Excellent trattoria, open only on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The atmosphere is that of a classic western Vicenza inn. The cuisine is good, offering local dishes and, in my experience, homemade pasta. It's very popular, though a bit out of the way, but easy to get to. I recommend making a reservation. The price is average.

We stumbled upon it by chance one Sunday for lunch. We discovered a timeless place where we ate authentic food prepared with attention to the finest ingredients. We ate so much and left feeling light and satisfied. We were served quickly and with generous smiles from the wait staff. The owner, with her simple, down-to-earth approach, makes you feel like you're in the right place, where someone has selected the best for you. We'll be back every time we have the chance to pass through Montecchio Maggiore.
