We spent a delightful evening at this small restaurant, conveniently located in the city center but off the beaten path. Both the waiters and Signora Mara were truly friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was delicious and flavorful. The price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

Super friendly and attentive waiters, and a very kind and friendly owner. The bread gnocchi with goulash were spectacular. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent traditional dishes from Trieste and Friuli, prepared fresh, not pre-cooked, so the wait is a bit longer, but it's totally worth it! Kudos to Mara for the love she puts into cooking and her warm, friendly welcome. She makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

01/04/2026: A very authentic restaurant. The pasta is excellent and the portions are generous. Reservations are highly recommended; it's well worth it.
25/03/2026: I had just arrived in Trieste, and was immediately greeted with kindness and excellent dishes. The goulash was the highlight, but also the chocolate and chili pepper cake (gluten-free, a rarity). All this, surrounded by the history of Italian theater. A must-try! (I don't have a photo of the excellent food, but I do have a photo of my guru Valerio Lundini at his restaurant.)
