We ate very well, the owner was very kind.... It's a shame we live in Bergamo so we won't go back!!!

Immersed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this trattoria offers an authentic traditional culinary experience that conquers at the first taste.
We tried cjarsons, a Friulian classic with a unique flavour! The pork cheeks melted in the mouth, cooked to perfection, while the goulash was intense and aromatic, a true triumph of flavours. Spectacular gubana!
The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to make our experience special. A special applause to the owner, Mara, who with her friendliness and hospitality made everything even more memorable.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover typical Friulian dishes, prepared with passion and served in a warm, family environment. An unmissable stop for lovers of good food!

Typical Friulian tavern. Rather small but typical restaurant environment. The menu has not too many dishes but all typical of Trieste. Excellent quality and excellent service.

Abbiamo festeggiato la notte del 31 dicembre mangiando in questo ristorante con amici. Atmosfera familiare, cameriera molto gentile e simpatica. Proprietaria sempre presente e interessata ai suoi ospiti. Abbiamo mangiato bene, il goulash servito al posto della guancia di maialino (non scelta) , era buonissimo, vale la pena andare solo per assaggiarlo :) Purtroppo ho trovato il costo esagerato. I piatti serviti per il cenone sono quelli che sono presenti nel menù di ogni serva ma aumentare così il costo solo perchè è il 31 dicembre l'ho trovato esagerato. A parte questo particolare, lo consiglio perchè si mangia bene e l'atmosfera è molto familiare e accogliente.

Mrs. Mara welcomed us as if we were guests in her home, with warmth and friendliness. The service is also attentive and extremely kind. The dishes, truly excellent, made us discover the typical cuisine of Friuli. We will be back!

Starting from Mara's extreme kindness, moving on to the dishes of simple and tasty cuisine, to conclude with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, I can only give 5 stars to everything. Ps absolutely try the frico, the pork cheeks, goulash bread dumplings. Everything excellent

Typical trattoria. The staff and the landlady were very kind. We eat in two shifts because it is very popular. Excellent dishes including a good Frico. Very recommended

We found the restaurant based on the excellent reviews it had on the web.
Small, welcoming and very 80's place.
Simple menu but with typical dishes of traditional cuisine. Very good Frico.
Mrs Mara is an exquisite person.
Reservation is advisable as there are two shifts (7pm and 9pm) but thanks to the kindness of the staff it is sometimes possible to find an extra space

Locale piccolo 20/25 posti a sedere max, molto sole casereccio, trattoria.
A metà tra San Giusto/San Vito e il fronte mare.
4/5 scelte tra antipasti primi e secondi.
Il servizio è stato un po' lento, gli antipasti sono arrivati subito (abbiamo preso anche il frico che è arrivato troppo velocemente infatti era tiepido...) mentre per i primi abbiamo atteso tanto, troppo, con l'aggravante che i nostri vicini di tavolo, che hanno ordinato dopo di noi, ricevevano prima i loro piatti.
Il cibo comunque era buono, si vedeva che era fatto con passione, una cucina casalinga.
