An overrated restaurant in Trastevere, it probably previously had a justified reputation. We went for lunch on 12/29/2024 and had a house starter (disappointment), a first course, bombette alla matriciana rated 3vs5, coda alla vacccinara rated 2vs5. The side dishes, however, were very dark: Puntarelle and sautéed chicory. Total €64 It's not worth it. Sorry but, we need to return to quality with a good price ratio.

Fab restaurant. Not at all touristy. Small menu, of traditional Roman dishes. Menu is presented at your table on a chalk board! Extremely good value.

Excellent trattoria, it takes you back with the smells and flavors to where your grandmother left you. Compliments. Superlative staff. We felt right at home. Well done

Ottima la cacio e pepe. Meno buona la carbonara e il coniglio mi è sembrato un po' "gommoso". Un voto in più per l'ambientazione familiare, per le vecchie foto alle pareti e per qualcosa che oramai a Trastevere è sparito.

My best restaurant in Roma. A bit out of the crowd, more quiet...but the food is divine. From a tourist POV, you got the family-run roman experience without the crowd. Life is good at Da Lucia.

Fuori dalla movida di Trastevere, trattoria a conduzione famigliare che propone piatti tipici romani. Buono l’antipasto di verdure e deliziosa la scarola. Carbonara promossa s pieni voti ma la trippa l’ho trovata poco curata e saporita: da migliorare. Ottimo il servizio, proprio famigliare.

Located in one if the most popular areas of Roma, Trastevere, this quiet little gem offers you one of the most authentic experiences. Family owned and has been there since 1938. It was so worth it ❤️

11/01/2025: An extraordinary culinary experience! Dishes of a very high standard, the service is amazing, patient, tolerant, professional, the waiters explain each dish in detail - we ordered a place inside, 5 small dishes to taste and we were more than satisfied with one main dish. This is our first and not our last time at Alfredo Restaurant. Highly recommend making a reservation and coming.
