Trattoria da Lucia In Roma

We had lovely dinner here with friends, mostly locals were there. The waitress was very nice and told us the history of this place. Food was on the level and their homemade wine was just excellent. All in all recommend this place for a good vibe and nice food.

Far from the crowded tourist streets, da Lucia offers authentic Roman cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is very good. There are tables both indoors and outdoors. The menu is available in both Italian and English. There is parking on the surrounding streets. The place is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is best to make a reservation as the place is relatively small.

I discovered this place about 50 years ago. I revisit it periodically and it is one of my favorite family-run restaurants with Roman cuisine.

Las recientes revisiones no hacen justicia a esta trattoria. Los primi eran excelentes, el pan era excepcional y los precios eran más que razonables. No es elegante - de la mejor manera posible. Si esperas una experiencia “foodie”, no es tu lugar. Si desea una comida encantadora, cocinada en casa donde - sí, es posible que tenga que esperar unos minutos mientras el personal termina su "cena familiar" y las cosas no siempre pueden estar en un menú impreso, entonces esto es para usted. Fui con mi esposa e hijo (7 años) y me sentí increíblemente cómodo y bienvenido en este pequeño restaurante. Los camareros incluso eran elogiosos de mis intentos de italiano. Para una pasta sencilla y excelente y un ambiente relajante entre las hordas de Trastevere, esta es una gran opción. Si eres un crítico gastronómico, no es tu lugar. An amazing experience! The atmosphere is as if they have invited you to their home for dinner. No fancy, beautifully arranged dishes, but just delicious food served on your plate. I had the oxtail and it was super!

An overrated restaurant in Trastevere, it probably previously had a justified reputation. We went for lunch on 12/29/2024 and had a house starter (disappointment), a first course, bombette alla matriciana rated 3vs5, coda alla vacccinara rated 2vs5. The side dishes, however, were very dark: Puntarelle and sautéed chicory. Total €64 It's not worth it. Sorry but, we need to return to quality with a good price ratio.
