Located in one if the most popular areas of Roma, Trastevere, this quiet little gem offers you one of the most authentic experiences. Family owned and has been there since 1938. It was so worth it ❤️

We stopped at this trattoria in an alleyway on the edge of the "nightlife" of Trastevere. The pecorino appetizer with honey: very good, but I would recommend putting a little more honey on the dish. The bombolotti all'amatriciana were, unfortunately, a disappointment: the tomato sauce was loose, it didn't seem cooked properly; the pieces of bacon are really scarce, I have seen dishes in other taverns where there were perhaps three times as many. The lamb is very good, perhaps for the price it is you could even add an extra piece. Also, in one of the 3 pieces, there was a completely raw part. Overall, we didn't eat badly, but not very well either; probably, given the great choice of Trastevere, I wouldn't return here.

It’s is always a pleasure to be at Da Lucia. It reminds me of my whole life. Quiet location in Trastevere, very good and typical Roman food

Had the bombolotti all’amatriciana and I was not disappointed. Every bite was a delight, highly recommend! The area outside is lovely for dinner/at sunset but requires booking.

Food was delicious. My kids finished every last morsel. Love the fact that only one person spoke English, but they were all super warm & friendly.

A very quiet place to be in Trastevere, as it is not in the busiest part of the neighborhood. The food was good but the only drawback is that the menu is not very extensive and some dishes could no longer be offered, and it is also not worth going to lunch very late.

The restaurant is a little hidden compared to others in the area, but the service is top notch and the typically Roman dishes are excellent.

02/09/2024: Enjoyed our meal at this atmospheric small restaurant. The house red was great as was my bucatini L’ amatriciana. Complementary bread, marinated eggplant and ball of mozzarella. The tiramisu was so good!
01/09/2024: WE'VE BEEN GOING SINCE 2014, SUPER RECOMMENDED! NICE PLACE, EXCELLENT FOOD, SERVED BY ITS OWNER. AT THE END OF EACH MEAL HE GIVES US THE SHOT OF LEMON CHELO MADE BY HIM! WE WILL BE BACK WITHOUT A DOUBT.

02/07/2024: Good food ! Good cold cuts, plentiful and amazing carbonara! Even though it was almost full, the service was very fast! The waiter is always available, professional and very kind. The only negative note is the rudeness of the owner who doesn't even know the difference between a tax receipt and a receipt, moreover acting like a rude know-it-all! Rude to the nth degree! Now he will reply that it's not true, I can already see it..., first and last time!
02/07/2024: Cibo buono ! Affettati buoni , carbonara abbondante e strepitosa! nonostante fosse quasi tutto pieno il servizio è stato velocissimo ! Il cameriere sempre disponibile professionale e gentilissimo . Unica nota negativa la maleducazione del proprietario che non sa neanche la differenza tra una ricevuta fiscale ed uno scontrino oltretutto facendo il sapientone maleducato ! Scortese all’ennesima potenza ! Ora replicherà che non è vero già me lo vedo .., prima e ultima volta!
