Trattoria da Lucia In Palena

Di passaggio a Palena ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria, seguendo i consigli di Tripadvisor e siamo rimasti davvero contenti per questa scelta! Abbiamo scoperto una trattoria a gestione familiare, fondata dalla signora Lucia nel 1966 e che ancora oggi prosegue l'attività con l'aiuto dei familiari. Lucia è una signora piccolina, dal viso buono e gentile, grande lavoratrice e che ancora oggi, dopo oltre quarant'anni di duro lavoro, ama il suo lavoro in cucina! E questo amore si vede nei piatti: abbiamo assaggiato la polenta alle coriche e fettuccine ai funghi, la carne e le verdure ripassate e tutto è stato molto buono e servito in porzioni generose. Prezzo assolutamente onesto. Che dire? Sono queste le persone generose e laboriose che hanno cambiato in meglio il nostro Paese!!! Speriamo di poter prendere il testimone e andare avanti!

We were headed to Sulmona and stopped at this restaurant. We met the very friendly owner who prepared the table for us despite the late hour. The food was all very good and with local products. The price was average. A place to recommend.

After a motorbike tour we stopped at this place with some doubts....which however vanished when we started to taste the food...in particular tagliatelle with mushrooms, mixed roast, roasted mozzarella with sausage. Price more than fair. I'll be back.

Lunch like at home, cooked by Mrs. Lucia, excellent prices, highly recommended.

Whenever I can, the gastronomic stop at Lucia's is an obligation; Mrs. Lucia's expert hands prepare substantial, succulent and quality dishes, all at zero km.

Homemade pasta, simple but delicious sauces, very low price compared to the quality served.

Truly a beautiful experience, the guitar with the divine truffle!!! With real truffle felled on top at a low cost!!! For the second course we had the lamb, soft and tasty, truly special, and last but not least even the green salad with walnuts and plum sauce was spectacular! Highly recommended place. The only negative reviews you will find are those from dog owners because they don't let them in here. ❤️
