What an amazing find,
One of the best experiences we had!!!
If you are in the area, or even if you not, its worth driving an hour, in our case 44min from our house for this delicious food.

A typical trattoria in the upper Abruzzo region, characterized by the customary hospitality and simplicity of its people. Cuisine made with excellent ingredients, expertly prepared by Lucia, who still oversees the creation of the dishes. We feel at home, in the back bar setting, and we are treated like family!
The traditional Abruzzo first courses are handmade...the gnocchi are "turned" one by one...
The roast meat, especially the grilled lamb, is an absolute must for its quality and flavor.

Excellent trattoria at the foot of the Maiella. Excellent and generous first courses with a homemade flavor. The meat-based second courses feature lamb and local veal, along with excellent side dishes. Reservations are recommended.

The food was excellent, good quality (we had the chitarra al tartufo, which was well seasoned with real truffles, not the usual oils), and the portions were truly generous. The staff was truly kind and attentive. Highly recommended.
