One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. It felt like I was in my Nonna’s kitchen. They treat you like family.

It's like eating at your grandmother's, Mrs. Graziella is a kind lady and she cares about making you eat good, homemade, Sunday-style food, it makes you remember when you ate at your grandmother's as a child, simple foods, oil, water, wine, there is no menu to follow but Graziella knows what to make you taste, it's the rustic place par excellence, like home.

We ate a homemade lunch with fresh products made on the spot by the helpful and friendly owner.

Simplicity personified. Graziella is a special lady, from another era, who welcomes you like an aunt into her home. She cooks simply, in keeping with Calabrian tradition. She tells stories of her life and her hometown—a true home restaurant, true Calabrian style! The baked black olives, fried zeppole, and fresh giardiniera are particularly noteworthy. My only constructive comment: I would have preferred a more al dente version of typical Calabrian pasta, rather than packaged penne.

A lunch as a couple during a cold winter and it was love at first sight. Dinner with a group, one early summer evening and love was consolidated. Various other dinners (with various people who have always loved this place that I introduced them to) transformed this into an intense gastro-sentimental relationship. The trattoria da Graziella has found the secret to making everything beautiful: simplicity. This combined with a quality gastronomic tradition that rigorously respects the flavors of the past. Very rich and homemade appetizers: turnips and sausages, made with pork rinds, olives in various preparations, assortment of fried foods, etc. Real pasta and an exceptionally tasty second course, which will fully justify the additional effort you will require from your stomach after the abundance of the previous courses. And then Mrs. Graziella's simplicity, genuineness and cheerfulness are that something extra that will allow you to take with you the feeling and joy of having eaten not in an ordinary restaurant but in a real homely atmosphere!

Quelle incroyable moment suspendu sur les hauteurs de Maida ! A notre arrivée, le restaurant était fermé, mais il n'a fallu que deux minutes pour que Graziella débarque à bord de sa voiture pour venir nous sustenter. La barrière de la langue ne nous a pas empêché de dialoguer avec l'hôte des lieux et son incroyable bonté. Une seule question : "pas d'allergie ?" On ne savait pas ce qu'on allait déguster, mais un conseil pour les futurs chanceux qui s'y rendront : jeûnez deux jours avant de vous attabler chez Graziella. Tout y était délicieux, du début à la fin. La cuisine italienne comme on l'aime. Grazie mille Graziella !

Today we had lunch at Graziella in Maida. What can I say... everything was delicious, it felt like being at home! Graziella is a force of nature, irrepressible in her frankness and cordiality! Il 1 maggio 2025 con le nostre famiglie siamo andati a pranzo dalla signora Graziella, un posto caratteristico , un borghetto simpatico, una bellissima accoglienza ma soprattutto un ottimo pranzo, una cucina casareccia buonissima e ricca di genuinità , sapori di tradizione è fatti con amore . Grazie per tutto, consigliato per chi ama la vera cucina ricca di sapori antichi.
