Beyond all expectations! We had dinner here with a couple of friends. What can I say, the dishes are practically perfect, the taste is explosive and the friendliness of the chef and the waiters complements it. Everything perfect. Highly recommended place, you won't regret it.

It was great service. The pasta was very good. And the portions are huge. We went there for dinner on 2 occasions. The first time we had the “Tagliolini with cuttlefish ink”, “Gnocchetti Grigio” and “Squid, Buffalo Mozzarella, Bread Chips and Confit Tomatoes”

I had a surprising find at this restaurant. Although the menu mostly featured fish dishes, my wife and I opted for pasta with tomato sauce (I had Bolognese), and it was incredibly delicious. My wife mentioned that it was the best pasta she'd ever had. The service was polite and the atmosphere felt authentically Italian, with many Italian customers.

Typical Venezian historic restaurant, very popular with local people, which can go a little unnoticed due to the large number of places to eat. Here we organized a lunch for a bachelorette party with friends, we called three weeks in advance to reserve and the whole lunch was really fantastic, the owner offered us a sardine appetizer and also gave us a bottle of prosecco to continue celebrating, the whole The staff was very kind, the sea fry was incredible, crunchy, tasty and with fresh fish, we chose various first and second courses where all the comments were more than positive, the dessert is no exception as it was also excellent, the portions are good and the price is honest. Highly recommended!!

We ate really well. House starter, mixed fried fish, octopus and Venetian liver. Right portions, not thin, excellent taste. Very kind. A trattoria as it should be.

From the street tho restaurant does not look much. However, it has a beautiful courtyard in the back with great ambience. The staff are exceptionally nice and the food was very good. This was a great find and catered for Gluten Free

Non è la prima volta che vado in questa Trattoria , suggeritami da amici veneti e mi sono sempre trovato bene. : abbiamo prenotato perché preferiamo esser certi di " mangiare" .Ambiente familiare con personale molto professionale ma disponibilissimo : qualità ottima , pesce ben preparato e consigli sulle portate ben centrati ; per finire buoni dolci e buon vino della casa , quest'ultimo dettaglio permette un onesto prezzo . Ci ritorneremo .

23/03/2024: In occasione del compleanno del figlio grande, abbiamo fatto una sorpresa, andando a Venezia, e festeggiando al ristorante. Il pranzo è stato molto buono, a base di pesce. Buoni i primi, buono il fritto di mare. Anche il vino della casa, è risultato gradevole. Le ragazze del servizio, sono state molto gentili. Alla richiesta di una complicità, per festeggiare, con il dolce, hanno partecipato, con entusiasmo. Molto gradevole, con cibo buono e spesa adeguata. Consigliato prenotare, visto che ci sono sempre persone in attesa.
21/02/2024: Mi ci hanno portato amici veneziani : Il locale è adiacente al ponte delle guglie , pochi minuti a piedi da Venezia Santa lucia , bel posto ,atmosfera piacevole ,personale cordiale , cena ottima ,con materie prime di ottima qualità . La fila fuori lasciava già immaginare quanto constatato di persona. Consigliatissimo .

06/08/2024: This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever dined at. We enjoyed the 4 course option which included the sweet and sour prawns with spiced onions and the sturgeon marinated in mull wine. Both were exquisite. These appetizers were followed by Durum Wheat Pasta and Scampi with a heavenly chili pepper oil and the Homemade Bronze Drawn Spaghettoni with butter and anchovy cream. Al dente superbness. The third course was Orange and Rosemary flavored Lamb and Duck Breast ‘Pervada’, both entrees sous vied, then baked to tender perfection. The encore desserts were the best Tiramisu and Crème Brûlée either of us had ever experienced. The evening was capped off with a sit down visit by the owner. He explained their 30 year quest to find and reproduce ancient 13th and 14th century Venetian recipes. This is a humble family, dedicated to their craft. We will return to Bistrot de Venise every time we return to Venice.
04/08/2024: I can't say enough good things about Bistrot de Venise. My fiancée and I had gotten engaged mere hours before our reservation and I scheduled the "romance" package for dinner. It came with its own special menu, an exclusive red tablecloth, a rose, two glasses of prosecco, 5 courses, and a special heart pastry, personalized with a congratulatory message. The food was fantastic and is certainly worthy of a Michelin star, especially the scallop risotto. This dish was incredible, and the heat of the food caused some of the thinly sliced ingredients to react and "come to life". It was one of the cooler things I have seen. At many highly rated spots, while the food may be good, the portions are lacking. That was not the case here. We felt full by the end of it and very, very satisfied. The sommellier helped us pair our wine perfectly and the waiter was absolutely wonderful, not snobby, but pleasantly delightful. The ambiance and aesthetic of the place is cozy and artistic and very different from other local establishments. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice. Seriously, you'll be missing out if you don't. Grazie!
