Good food, nice restaurant. We visited in late November and it was still fairly busy, reasonable value for money. The octopus main course was very good however we were a bit disappointed with the spaghetti and meat sauce due to the pasta being undercooked (as in it was still straight!) That said, it was only a couple of bits and overall the meal was nice. Good central location and close to some good bars for coffee or a beer afterwards. Tiramisu was great.

A classic locals only trattoria type of vibe- despite this they do have an English menu and are very kind and helpful. It really feels like a home cooked meal, and each dish was bright, fresh and clean! The seafood used here is excellent, I even found myself eating the prawn heads which I’m normally scared to try. I had the bacalato creamed cod and polenta and a beautiful pasta alla busara with generous portion of red prawns

Mixed Experience The squid ink pasta and calf's liver with polenta were very good, and the panna cotta, presented in an original way, was good and of high quality. The regional wine was very good. What was disturbing, however, was the service, which was not unpleasant but rushed. It was Saturday evening; it was only possible to get a table from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We arrived slightly early, ordered, and received our first course quickly. As soon as it was finished and cleared away, our second course arrived. The meal was finally "dispatched" in less than an hour. A bit disturbing, though.

16/10/2025: Absolutely amazing! The service was wonderful, they checked in but did not harass, the back garden was just magical to sit in for dinner, and the food, unreal! We had the Greek salad to start and I am not a salad person, so flavourful I cleaned the bowl. Then I had the mama Rosa’s ravioli and my husband had the diavoli pizza, both incredible. To finish we had the berries and cream which was so rich and bright it was the best way to end the best meal. I was so full when I left but couldn’t stop eating since the flavours were so top tier. Highly recommend!
13/10/2025: Food/hospitality in Italy has not been good. This was an acception. The manager was very nice and friendly and even deboned my whole fish for me, which was the best fish I've had here and tasty. My husband got the meatballs, they were ok. The dried meat app was delicious. We found this place after taking a trip through the opera house next door which was cool. I think vino vino and the more expensive place next door have the same chef (same host) so we chose to eat here to try it out. I would not shy away from the more expensive restaurant next door either considering our good experience here. The patio area was cute and we were able to see it from inside the opera. We also got a bottle of wine which was the area the manager was from and he loves that...cananaua I believe - it had an interesting dry flavor with floral notes. Would recommend 👍🏼

Trattoria Casa Mia

15/11/2025: A truly memorable culinary experience in the heart of Venice, at a trattoria, after three days. Locals and tourists mingle here, the staff are equally friendly to everyone, and the food is exceptional... a Venetian-style cuttlefish with polenta, a pizza made with fresh ingredients, a daily tart, and a perfect homemade tiramisu... an address to know and remember, with reasonable prices: 68 euros for two people, including wine and water.
09/11/2025: Seriously great food. Service was impeccable.
