In visita a Livorno, desideriamo dopo un bel po' di anni riassaporare un piatto che a queste latitudini si chiama cacciucco e viste le positive recensioni eccoci qua'.
Il locale è molto gradevole, stile vecchia trattoria ma pulito ed ordinato. Il piatto in oggetto, ottimo ed in congrua quantita, tante' che poi riusciamo a degustare solo lo squisito ponce, apprezzato anche il rosso toscano. In sala troviamo competenza e cordialita'. Il conto relativamente elevato ma ci sta'. Quindi w il cacciucco!

In the kitchen still excellent, older environment ok but a rejuvenation wouldn't hurt, I'm counting on Altino a bit but the prices are exposed... still positive overall even if the passion seems to be less and more the repetition of the same thing.. of safe used

A unique place in Livorno! Delicious food and friendly staff as well as friendly! The main dish is the Cacciucco, delicious as well as abundant in fish! Staff advice: "if you take the Cacciucco, don't take the starter" listen to them! they're right 😉, you won't regret it!!!

We ate a very good Cacciucco, tasty, plentiful, touching! And no less important linguine with scorpion fish and bottarga, both accompanied by excellent wine and a very pleasant chat with the person who served us, of a professionalism, friendliness and kindness that can no longer be found easily. We would return sooner if we lived in Livorno, but we will be happy to return as soon as we have the opportunity, thank you!

What can I say, I think that a better cacciucco doesn't exist in the world! The value for money is also excellent! The only flaw was paying €16, which is the same as a fish first course or a plate of plain pasta for a 3 year old.
