Friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Excellent value. We ordered three cooked appetizers (each consisting of six mini portions), three first courses (the simply sublime Rotonda sul Mare "linguine with Mazzara red shrimp and tuna bottarga"), four desserts, a bottle of Franciacorta, amaro, and coffee on the house... for the price of €72... if you love good food, I highly recommend it...

Refined authentic food prepared with attention and excellent service with an eye for details. I must mention how courteous and caring our waiters Valentino, Emanuele and Salvatore were (we were a group of 8 friends). They never missed a beat, made sure the dinner was perfect and always served with a smile. Everyone in the group was very happy with food and service. I would definitely come back.

We tried the Trattoria Da Filippo restaurant next to our Hotel Principe. It was a wonderful dinner, a truly unique experience thanks to the courtesy of the staff and the attention to detail in the table setting and plating. We started with an "Tutto mare" appetizer featuring many samples of various seafood entrees, followed by two first courses. The first course, "una rotonda sul mare," stands out: linguine aglio olio peperoncino (garlic, oil, chili pepper), bottarga (fish roe) and Mazara prawns. The plating truly evokes a rocky island or circular structure of linguine surrounded by a pink sea of prawns, all sprinkled with bottarga. The refined, delicate flavor tied everything together sublimely. The other recommended first course was the "piatto del giorno" (dish of the day): spaghettoni with pesce pauro (sea bream), the catch of the day. It was incredibly creamy, rich in fish morsels and a taste of the sea on the palate, a delicate and sumptuous dish. A truly unique experience! Highly recommended. Excellent wine list.

The quality of the fish was excellent, especially the starters, which were amazing! 4 stars because the quantity of raw seafood was truly minimal, considering a dish costs €30. The waiters were friendly and professional.

During a business trip to Milazzo, I had the pleasure of dining for two consecutive evenings at Trattoria da Filippo, in the heart of the city center. A typical, authentic and truly welcoming restaurant, which deserves a special mention. The location is convenient, easily accessible and with ample parking nearby – a detail that is far from obvious in the center. From the first moment, the staff was very kind and attentive, helping to create a familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The warm welcome is one of the restaurant's strong points. The menu is rich and varied, with traditional Sicilian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and generous portions. I was able to taste various specialties and on both evenings I was fully satisfied with both the quality and quantity. Ultimately, Trattoria da Filippo is a point of reference in Milazzo for those looking for good food, a family atmosphere and impeccable service. I would return without hesitation.

Siamo tornati a distanza di anni in questa trattoria sul lungomare di Milazzo e non siamo rimasti delusi. Anzi abbiamo apprezzato un miglioramento nella qualità e nella presentazione dei piatti. Il personale è cortese e la veranda esterna permette di godere di una visuale del mare, che è apprezzata. Il prezzo è congruo con quanto offre.

Un locale accogliente sul lungomare di Milazzo dove gustare dell'ottimo pesce. Personale molto gentile e preparato.
