Trattoria da Doro In Solagna

"The warmhearted friend and master cook you dream to find" Riding our bikes along the Brenta we came to Solagna, looking for coffee. Seeing a friendly looking man unloading chairs from his car, we asked for an open bar. Spontaneously he invited us into his restaurant and made us delicious espresso. Discovering him to be the chef of the Osteria da Doro we instantly booked a table and some hours later enjoyed the most delicious food in charming atmosphere with lovely hospitality! We strongly advise to visit this place!

We went for a family celebration and had a really good time. Traditional food, high quality raw materials expertly processed. You can feel the passion in every dish. Professional and courteous service, never intrusive. Serse recommended some excellent wines to us! Adequate prices!

Impressed by the service, welcome and quality of the products!!! While passing through Bassano we decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant. We made friends with a couple of gentlemen at the next table who suggested what to order and also invited us to have coffee at their house😊 The chef and his sommelier nephew stopped to chat with us and explain all the courses and wines served, something I love when I travel to other regions of Italy, and today not at all a given! They even let us try other dishes that we hadn't ordered! Beautiful family run restaurant, I will definitely be back!
