We had a wonderful first dinner in Venice here! We were seated immediately, and the service was prompt and welcoming. We ordered the king prawns and the fried calamari, and everything was so fresh and flavorful! Great price for the phenomenal value and flavor and experience. Would absolutely recommend! We’ll have to come back when we have room for dessert!

We had dinner and had a very good time at Denis. The pasta was fresh and very tasty, the sea food was very fresh and tender. Service is impeccable, the staff very nice and helpful. Not to mention the best tiramisu I had in Venice.

Beautiful place, excellent food, and wonderful service... highly recommended "La Tecia." A word of advice: don't eat anything beforehand. Once you're finished, if you can, they can make linguine with what's left over. You'll leave the table feeling full and happy. The price is more than fair. Thanks to Mrs. Viola and Carola for their service, smile, and helpfulness.

Trattoria da Denis is one of those rare places that immediately feels special the moment you walk in. It’s tucked just around the corner from where we usually stay in Venice, and every trip, we make a point of coming back here. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, with that classic Venetian warmth that makes you feel instantly welcome. I’ve ordered the seafood risotto every single time, and it never disappoints. It’s honestly the best seafood risotto I’ve ever had. The rice is perfectly cooked, creamy without being heavy, and the seafood is fresh, generous, and prepared exactly right. Every bite has something different, from tender calamari to perfectly cooked shrimp, all blended into one incredibly flavorful dish. It’s the kind of meal that lingers in your memory long after the trip is over. The service has always been outstanding. The staff are kind, attentive, and clearly proud of what they do. Even when the restaurant is busy, they manage to make you feel like they have all the time in the world for your table. The prices are very fair for the quality, and the overall experience is consistently wonderful. If you’re looking for a restaurant in the heart of Venice that feels authentic, comfortable, and consistently delicious, Trattoria da Denis is it. This place has become part of our tradition every time we return to Venice, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Fantastic little restaurant in Venice, highly recommend. Exactly the place your friends mean when they recommend you find somewhere to eat in Venice that is authentic Italian (great food and great service) but not too tourist-y.

Heerlijk gezellig restaurant. Gedreven door een vriendelijke familie. Gewoon ouderwetse kwaliteit. Maar dan op basis van een eigentijdse kwaliteitskeuken!
