I was very, very satisfied with the Vicenza-style cod I ate... It was light, delicate... truly excellent. For dessert, I enjoyed a delicious tiramisu... but when I saw the meringue with marronglace ordered by the people at the next table... I thought it would be a good reason to return. The service was also excellent. Truly excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A historic, well-maintained venue. Elegant and pleasant atmosphere, attentive and very polite staff. I recommend the entire menu, but especially the Vicenza-style cod.... Highly recommended!

On my way back from Venice with friends, I tried this restaurant specifically for cod. The menu offers a variety of options. The creamed cod salad appetizer was excellent, as was the cod barcarole—a surprise I'd never tried before. I was much less impressed with the cod Vicenza-style, which is supposed to be the star dish. It wasn't creamy at all; in fact, it was dry and a little rubbery, and didn't seem to follow the traditional recipe. The bigoli alla Cirillo, however, were good. Fast and precise service in a pleasant, warm, and clean environment.

A warm welcome, despite our delayed arrival due to a route error.
There was no negative attitude from the restaurant staff; on the contrary, they made us feel completely at ease with professional yet extremely friendly attention.
We had lunch with an appetizer of cod cooked in two ways and polenta, and a baked scallop, followed by cod risotto and finally cod Vicenza-style, all washed down with a local sparkling wine, Vignalta Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs.
All in all, a completely positive experience, both from a human perspective, given the welcome, and for lunch, considering that given the time, we were the only ones in the dining room. We left for home happy and eager to return.
