I stumbled upon this trattoria by chance with my wife. A very pleasant surprise. The welcoming atmosphere and the very kind and friendly staff, attentive to the customer's needs, made us feel right at home. The tagliatella with ragù and green tortelloni with pancetta, hazelnuts, and balsamic vinegar were amazing. The roast beef and meatballs boast old-fashioned flavors. They also have a set menu on Sundays.
We'll definitely be back.

Top of the line, as far as I'm concerned. Excellent food, friendly and attentive management. Very decent portions and very low prices for top quality. It feels a bit like going back to grandma's house (which for me is a must).

Five of us had a lunch on Epiphany without a reservation, with heavy snowfall underway. We ate wonderfully, the owners were very kind, and the atmosphere, like the clientele, was extremely relaxing. I felt like I'd gone back in time, when restaurants were about making people feel good, not just survival. We had a first course, second course, two rounds of water, coffee, and dessert, and a festive lunch, and we spent €18 each. Thanks to the owners. I highly recommend Trattoria da Carlo.

I went here for a company dinner.
The €25 menu included crescentine and cured meats, two first courses (tortelloni with butter and sage and tagliatelle with ragù), mixed grill, water, wine, and coffee.
The crescentine were really good, cooked in oil, not lard. Since I'm a vegetarian and my colleague is also vegan, the owners were very kind and prepared a menu for us with vegan cured meats. The crescentine were the same, being dairy-free.
The first course was spaghetti with friggione, and the second course was seitan alla astra and fake sausage with a side of vegetables. Everything was excellent.
I tried the tortellone and it was truly delicious.
My colleagues said the tagliatelle with ragù and grilled meat were really tasty.
Perhaps a flaw was the lack of vegetables, but there were grated tomatoes anyway.
Everything was delicious and plentiful.
The staff was friendly.

Highly recommended! Informal and welcoming, tasty dishes and generous portions, super kind and friendly staff, attentive to all their guests' needs. I'm vegetarian and they created a menu just for me, truly delicious and highly recommended!
