We found this place by chance while walking around the center of Orvieto, a very nice place. We asked for two for lunch, they seated us right away. The menu is rich in tradition. All the dishes we ordered were truly delicious. The aglione, dish of the day, was special. The attentive staff makes you feel at home. I recommend it to everyone.

We live in LA and whenever we visit Italy, will drive from wherever we are to visit Orvieto and have lunch at Trattoria da Carlo. Have brought multiple family and friends over multiple trips. Simply cannot understand how does not have at least one Michelin. Cannot recommend any higher. Enjoy!

We were in Orvieto and we stopped without knowing the place but only for the beautiful impression at the sight...we had not booked but they made us sit inside immediately. (outside it was full) we ate some crostini with cream of broad beans and other crostini with livers and vinsanto and they were very bioni
The first course off the menu was very interesting and also the meatballs of the second course very good. Excellent chicory + scalded herbs as a side dish. We spent about 40 euros each with a bottle of white water coffee and a dessert. The price is all there. Kind and precise and fast in the service...

Molto valida, piatti curati pasta fatta in casa, piacevole il cortile un po’ defilato dal centro, vicolo del popolo, ottima location per un pranzo ombreggiato e all’esterno del ristorante, consiglio un primo piatto e il loro greghetto, prezzo nella norma

Siamo entrati accolti da Carlo. Carino pulito onesto. Pane ed olio fatto in casa. Tutti prodotti puliti e genuini. Pasta meravigliosa fatta in casa e olio sopraffino per chi ama il buon sapore. Ci ritorneremo per assaggiare altre specialità. Il cameriere , credo indiano, aveva mangiato un po’ troppo aglio. Ma simpatica accoglienza e gentilezza 🥂bravo Carlo.
