The raw meats, including the salsiccia and Chianina beef tartare, were delicious.
The Umbricelli also had a nice texture and was delicious.
The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, I have to be quite harsh on the food. Although the owner is very friendly, the food is "nice but not great."
It's certainly relatively good for tourists and if you're super hungry—but the prices are quite high, and the quality doesn't match the bill. It's neither fish nor meat: the "simplest" dishes lack the abundance, rusticity, or characteristics of trattoria fare, and the more "complex" ones lack the qualities of dishes more typically found in mid-range restaurants or inns. The attention to detail in the restaurant's decor, as well as the above-average plating for a trattoria, are certainly evident, but they alone aren't enough and are actually a bit misleading.
The pasta with fennel was absolutely overflowing with fennel, truly excessive—and the cod (a rather ungenerous portion) Orvietana-style was more like cod with a heavy tomato sauce, so hot it was inedible for a few minutes, a temperature that disintegrated the cod, and even small details like the tasteless Asian pine nuts.
It's a shame because there's so much potential and you can see the effort, but there's a lot of work to be done in the kitchen if you really want to justify the higher-than-average price.

Very good, the location is a bit hidden (don't be lazy, just wander around Orvieto's alleys with curiosity), the food is okay, the atmosphere is a bit rustic (but it's a trattoria!!), and the price is reasonable. I give it full marks.

This restaurant serves the best pasta available in Orvieto, among excellent alternative restaurants. Starters are also delicious. The service, setting and atmosphere are second to none

A refined trattoria with an excellent menu of local dishes, mostly meat-based, with a few variations, such as
Baccalà all'Orvietana. The decor is also decidedly pleasant.

Trip to Orvieto. We had lunch at this trattoria. There were seven of us, and the very kind and helpful owner seated us right away and cooked without making us wait, given that we had little time. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to first courses, and so on. We'll definitely be back if we pass through that area again. Thank you.

Encontramos este restaurante por casualidad en un día de julio muy caluroso en Orvieto. Al principio, el camarero estaba bastante distante con nosotros, pero pronto se calentó. Tranquilo al principio, el lugar estaba zumbando por 1. 00 con una mezcla de italianos y turistas. La comida era sencilla y deliciosa, y estábamos muy satisfechos con todo. Había varias opciones vegetarianas.
