Quick but pleasant dinner with excellent first courses, excellent house wine, local second courses that we savored until the last bite, Carlo's presence is the final touch to the picture, witty, friendly, welcoming ... thanks, we'll be back

I went to this restaurant for a stop on my friend's hen party. We were delighted by the food (all the courses were exceptional) and very happy with the service (Mr. Carlo was attentive to every detail in the service and made us have fun and feel at home right away!). The location of the restaurant is excellent, in the center of the city and in an alley that looks like a postcard. In our opinion, an unmissable stop if you are in the city!

Small trattoria in a very characteristic alley of Orvieto. The atmosphere is decidedly pleasant, the service very attentive. The rating is excellent for some dishes such as the braised meat and a little less for the grilled meat, undercooked, when instead it should be crispy and well drained. Prices all in all adequate, except for the cover charge at €3 disproportionate to what is offered.

It was recommended to us by a person who lives in Orvieto...and it was just a discovery! A very nice trattoria inside an alley and with a hidden little square, an outdoor table inside this cohort surrounded by the walls of a palace! And the staff made us feel at home! Friendly, helpful and ready to advise you between a laugh and a joke! We ate divinely!!!! An appetizer of artichokes, Grana and spinach to take your breath away, amazing lentil soup and for our son a huge plate.... really huge of tagliolini with ragù and with meatballs like grandma's! We ate 3 of that pasta!!!! And then the meat main courses...that melted in your mouth! A braised beef with sauce and a skewer of various cuts of meat that were a spectacle! You really have to come back here for lunch again!!!!

I went for lunch with a friend on a sunny Spring day and the piazzetta was absolutely charming. A wise woman once told me that the only sign of a good restaurant is if it is full of locals, and this one certainly was. The service was excellent, the menu was varied and those meatballs.... O.M.G.! They're the stuff people write films about! It saddens me to see the negative reviews that have obviously been written by people who aren't familiar with good quality, simple local food. What a gem - I will certainly be going back!

Carlo prepared the best food in Orvieto that we’ve had since we’ve been here. What a gem of a restaurant. 15/10 rating!! We will be back and back again!

Molto valida, piatti curati pasta fatta in casa, piacevole il cortile un po’ defilato dal centro, vicolo del popolo, ottima location per un pranzo ombreggiato e all’esterno del ristorante, consiglio un primo piatto e il loro greghetto, prezzo nella norma

Typical restaurant in Orvieto: in a very pretty alleyway and equally distant from the chaos of the main square, Carlo is a perfect host. Genuine and succulent dishes, excellent tomato soup, crostini with broad bean purée and delicious umbrichelli "al baffo". Fair price, excellent experience.

Siamo entrati accolti da Carlo. Carino pulito onesto. Pane ed olio fatto in casa. Tutti prodotti puliti e genuini. Pasta meravigliosa fatta in casa e olio sopraffino per chi ama il buon sapore. Ci ritorneremo per assaggiare altre specialità. Il cameriere , credo indiano, aveva mangiato un po’ troppo aglio. Ma simpatica accoglienza e gentilezza 🥂bravo Carlo.
