The traditional Emilian dishes are high-quality, but there are hundreds of typical restaurants in Modena where you can eat just as well or better.
The rude service isn't worth a cent of my money; the blonde owner is the complete opposite of the restaurant scene of this era. Maybe 30 years ago it was fine, but it's 2026.
If you have to pay more than €45/50 and be treated condescendingly, without meeting the needs of the PAYING customer, in a restaurant that doesn't have the space and acoustics to accommodate a certain number of people and where they instead improvise unsuitable tables, then I confirm that this is not the right place for me.

Always extraordinary and spectacular. I've never had tagliatelle like his anywhere else. The main courses are excellent too!

Bollo is no longer just about the famous tagliatelle; they've developed a series of top-notch dishes. Among traditional cuisine restaurants, it's certainly one of the top establishments in the Modena area. The wine list may not be particularly extensive, but it has everything you need and more. Prices are slightly higher than average, but the excellent quality justifies it. I always love returning.
