We stumbled upon this small restaurant while passing by, craving Florentine steak, and were pleasantly surprised.
We ordered steak, La Ribollita (Florence stew), Burrata cheese with a vegetable salad, and a 1/4 liter of wine. Served with bread, the portions were generous, just right for three people, and cost €67 in total. Each dish had its highlights.
The steak was delicious, incredibly flavorful, with perfectly cooked fat, juicy and tender.
The Burrata cheese was wonderfully fragrant, with a pure, creamy aroma, and the addition of crunchy almond slices and balsamic vinegar made it incredibly appetizing.
The stew was also excellent, a dish we'd never seen before, but with a distinctly Florentine flavor. It had a homey, delicious taste, the vegetables were tender and cooked perfectly with the bread.
The 1/4 liter of wine was only €3, a small bottle just right for our family, and it tasted great.
After our meal, the restaurant even gave us some homemade chocolate liqueur to try. The flavor was unique, unlike anything we'd ever tasted before—like liquid chocolate liqueur.
It's worth mentioning that the service was excellent. Although there weren't many foreign tourists in the restaurant, the young lady who took our order spoke English. When we asked to try a smaller steak, she explained the recommended doneness and weight, and thoughtfully showed us our selection before cooking to confirm (I was initially worried that such a weight-based cut of meat would be too much). When we mentioned we couldn't understand the Italian menu and wanted recommendations for non-pork dishes, she provided detailed introductions to several signature dishes. Throughout the meal, she frequently came to check on our experience. Our whole family enjoyed the meal immensely.
The dining environment was also very pleasant, with a warm atmosphere and clean restrooms. I highly recommend it to anyone passing by! It was definitely a wonderful dining experience.

Like home, but better than home.
At home, I've tried every way to copy the dishes this restaurant offers, with little success.
When I go there, I feel at home, but I eat much better!

I would recommend this trattoria to anyone passing through Florence. We had an excellent Florentine steak, with a superb fillet steak that melted in your mouth. The dessert, inspired by cantucci biscuits but revisited, is unique, perhaps indescribable, and absolutely worth trying. We had the honor of complimenting Mr. "Beppino," who, near the end of his shift, came out of the kitchen, was clearing away the cutlery, and very shyly said, "Thank you, thank you so much." A gentleman from another era, who even touched us. They welcomed us even quite late, and despite the hour, they treated us in a way that is now almost forgotten. Compliments also to the young man who served us, very polite.

We chose this restaurant for Christmas dinner with colleagues. Excellent food and friendly staff. Small space. Only complaint: for what we ordered, the bill was a bit pricey. Decent wine.

A typical Florentine trattoria, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere and excellent food: fantastic fried artichokes and homemade cantucci with almonds and phenomenal dried figs, served with Vin Santo. The dark chocolate liqueur is delicious. The bowl of jelly beans brought to the table at the end of the meal was a welcome treat. It was a fantastic 65 steps from our B&B, Le Tre Sorelle di Sabrina, to get there, and we thank her for the tip.

First of all, the atmosphere and kindness of the owners and their family are really great! I was wondering what to eat for dinner on my first night in Florence, but I ended up going there and eating Cacio È Pepe, lampredotto, and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano. They were absolutely delicious! They couldn't even compare to the pasta I had in Korea. So, we visited again the next day and had another pasta and Tagliata alle Scaglie di Parmigiano, and the food itself was just delicious! The chocolate whiskey(?) that they gave us after the meal was also really delicious! I will definitely come back here next time I visit Florence! Additionally, the 1/2 vino was cheap and delicious at 6 euros!
