Our tour agency gave us a complimentary lunch at this restaurant, and the staff was very helpful and polite. Would recommend for anyone visiting Florence for their first time like us.

We had lunch at this trattoria and had a positive experience. We ordered two appetizers (artichoke tart with pecorino cream), one radicchio risotto, one braised beef with caramelized onion, one side of fried artichokes, a portion of pineapple, and a pine nut parfait. With two coffees and water and two glasses of wine, we spent €89.00. The first and second courses were good, the artichoke tarts excellent, and the fried artichokes were decent, although I wasn't thrilled with them. Overall, the experience was good, but not five-star.

I just left the place, and the only adjective I could perhaps use to describe the kindness, the welcome, the atmosphere, and the staff, is HEAVENLY. Highly recommended.

17/02/2026: A quaint little place where we ate delicious garlic pici and Certaldo's signature onion soup. Definitely recommended for a break in the village!
15/02/2026: Today we went to Certaldo for a short visit. We had lunch at this Osteria, a pleasant discovery. We were warmly welcomed by the kind and very friendly staff, and the food was truly delicious. Superb ribollita (as a Lucca native would say), seasoned with delicious olive oil and accompanied by excellent red wine (they have a top-notch cellar and unique beers). We continued with a mixed platter... what cured meats... a treat for the palate, even the cheeses with jams, divine. We'll definitely be back; in the meantime, I highly recommend it.
