Excellent place to eat if you're visiting Volterra! The service is spectacular and the food delicious! The pasta with ragu and risotto are delicious, and the chocolate cake is moist! We highly recommend it!

Con la mia compagna in vacanza a Volterra decidiamo di cenare in questa trattoria, spinti dalle recensioni. Il locale è carino, accogliente, e i ragazzi del servizio super gentili e disponibili. Ordiniamo pici al ragù d'anatra e zuppa alla Volterrana, infine formaggi pecorino misti, acqua e vino rosso. I pici erano molto buoni, cottura perfetta e il ragù d'anatra saporito, la zuppa ugualmente buona e saporita. I caprini anch'essi buoni. Il conto nella media €51 euro in due persone. Non tantissimo. Ottima cena, senza pretese. Allego foto. Lo consiglio.

Trattoria with excellent quality Tuscan cuisine. We ate: ravioli with blue cheese, stockfish with onions, mixed fried foods (artichokes, rabbit, brains, chicken); hot sweet cream. All very good.

I recently went to Badò on the recommendation of friends. Truly Tuscan place, excellent dishes and courteous and competent service. Great atmosphere. I'll be back soon

Vale la pena di spostarsi un po’ dal centro storico per raggiungere questa trattoria, che da fuori può sembrare un poco anonima, quasi un bar di passaggio, ma in realtà la cucina è tipica e per niente “turistica”. Consigliatissima la zuppa di ceci, da provare anche il pecorino locale. Ottimi i dolci. Personale cordiale e prezzi giusti per la qualità delle materie prime

06/05/2025: I came with my friends on holiday to Pisa, while looking for a restaurant in the hills I found this one and I'm grateful for coming because I found delicious food, I especially recommend the first courses which are among the best I've ever eaten in my life. 05/05/2025: Elegant place, with soft lights and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Traditional dishes prepared with care and well presented. A classic and sincere restaurant. Staff friendly and available for explanations. I will definitely return in the summer season.
04/05/2025: Really nice restaurant for dinner! They have really local cuisine and nice ingredients Nice location, inside a regional park. The only suggestion, they could play some nice background music!
