il locale anni 70-80 , perfetto ! trattoria con cucina rustica e tradizionale valdostana , i locali migliori che purtroppo sono in via di estinzione !! astenersi fighetti e amanti nouvelle cuisine (mangiare poco e pagare caro) qui si mangia bene tanto di qualità e a prezzi corretti.

This is an authentic italian trattoria! A place that both brings you back in time and gives you a fair overview of the culinary traditions of this wonderful region of Italy. On my humble opinion, one of the best places in Italy. Angie, the owner, will present you a menu based on the typical ingredients of the area, different on every season. The menu is not fixed and based on what she is planning to cook during the day. Shout out for the selection of local wines and home made spirits, in particular the pine-flavoured grappa. The price is on the lower range, but the quality is definitely high, as in several other small villages in the area far away from more touristic areas. P.S. If you happen to be vegan it is highly recommended to book several days in advance and let her know about that.

We ate very well 🥰 very characteristic place, we had lunch outdoors under a beautiful walnut tree. Very nice Angie! I update a year later, reiterating and strengthening my opinion: fabulous 💙 After a series of delicious appetizers we ate a "soup", as Angie calls it, which I think is the best thing I've ever eaten 🤩 the concept is that of seupa valpellinentze, but made with courgettes, brown bread, fontina and I don't know what else, which makes it heavenly 😍

Fixed price for a fantastic menu of real, well-cooked Aosta Valley food. Nice informal environment. Low prices. I love it.

You enter, sit down and start eating with what they bring you (it is not possible to choose a different menu, so avoid going if you have food allergies or intolerances). Plenty of abundant starters, first and second courses (to really fill you up). The amount of food compared to the price paid is truly impressive. Very good place but excellent experience.

We have been coming to Val d'Aosta consecutively for 5 years and an obligatory stop is at the Angie restaurant in Champedraz! ONLY local cuisine, without a menu....and you eat what they give you, but both the goodness and the quantities are GUARANTEED.....and also the costs! SEEING IS BELIEVING!!!
