The fiolaro broccoli tasting evening at the Trattoria Cortese was an extraordinary culinary experience, organized with great care and attention by Tatiana for the "usual" meeting of the NLC club. The menu, entirely dedicated to Fiolaro broccoli, offered a variety of dishes that highlighted the unique characteristics of this ingredient.
The first course, a basket of puff pastry filled with fiolaro broccoli mousse and fiolaro broccoli salad, opened the dinner with a combination of delicate flavors and crunchy textures. As a first course, the risotto with fiolaro broccoli and saffron was a dish with a perfect balance between the creaminess of the risotto and the distinctive taste of the fiolaro broccoli, enriched by the aromatic touch of saffron.
Followed by the cappelletti stuffed with fiolaro broccoli with butter and sage were a true triumph of flavours, with the fresh pasta enveloping a tasty and well-balanced filling, enhanced by the simplicity of the butter and sage dressing. Finally, the leg of suckling pig stuffed with broccoli offered tender and succulent meat, perfectly combined with the fiolaro broccoli stuffing.
For dessert, the trio of cannoli with broccoli on gianduja sauce closed the dinner on a sweet note, with a combination of rich and delicious flavours. This was accompanied by matching bottled wines and coffee, completing an unforgettable gastronomic experience. What can I say... the tasting evening based on fiolaro broccoli at the Trattoria Cortese was an exclusive and refined event, which was able to make the most of a typical ingredient of the Venetian and Italian culinary tradition.

Ho terminato da un’oretta il pranzo in famiglia della domenica e ancora sto tessendo le lodi della carne gustata. Per me, filetto di puledro: cottura perfettamente al sangue. Ma anche gli altri piatti erano altrettanto accattivanti. Quindi, se chiedete a me, buttatevi sulla ciccia: di gran qualità, preparata alla grande.
