Trattoria Conti In Bronte

We took a pistachio first course but it was poorly seasoned and portions were not abundant. The bruschettas are good. The small and clean place was empty when we arrived, but we waited a while. There is no menu with prices so the bill was a surprise which in any case seemed too high for a restaurant.

I like trattorias where you feel at home. If you are in a hurry or if you are looking for atmosphere, the place is not for you. The owner is nice. Then I had the misfortune of arriving on a gloomy day, with no tourists on the street. However, I recommend it because it is a place with no frills but with the essentiality of genuine dishes.

The cuisine is too perfect, it's as if I had eaten at home, I would say even better. The food was deliciously good😍😍😍

Looking for lunch in Bronte, we stumbled across this gem of a trattoria. A complete antidote to the more tourist-oriented establishments around the coast. Simple menu, delicious food, and reasonably priced. The proprietors, a delightful couple, were very welcoming and best of all spoke to us purely in Italian - which is increasingly a novel experience, but a very welcome one!
