Trattoria Clementina In Sirmione

The food and service are top-notch. However, I wouldn't call it a classic trattoria; it's more of an upscale restaurant.

Found by chance returning from a trip to the lake, we don't live far from here and wanted a quiet place to eat something genuine with the flavors of the past... it was a real surprise, a nice place with a history behind it, managed by competent and kind people including the staff, excellent and special foods all accompanied by an excellent house wine. We will definitely come back to try other dishes Compliments

It's delicious! The food is amazing! We went there twice because we loved it so much. However, the second time, the waiter (the man at the cash register) made it very clear that our child (1.5 years old) was "disturbing" even though he was calm and wasn't bothering any customers. He asked us to go to a table outside (without other customers) even though it had just rained and the sky was still dark. My child is not a dog!! Also, we paid €2.50 for "covers" for the baby even though he only used one small plate (no cutlery or glasses). No other restaurant during our stay charged for this. Too bad, it spoiled the experience because otherwise the food was great. He probably did it deliberately so we wouldn't go back!

The place to go to eat great traditional food

We had dinner two nights in a row (May 28 and 29) and we had a great time. Characteristic place, courteous and fast service. Delicious tasting while waiting for dinner. Fried gnocco with cold cuts and house giardiniera, excellent and plentiful; High quality lake appetizer; Bigoli with spectacular sardines; Lavarello (or char? We can't remember 😁) exquisite; Rib eye steak that melted in your mouth; Delicious pear crème brulé; Excellent house wine, both white and red; Price in line with the dinner and definitely cheaper than the tourist restaurants in the center of Sirmione; Parking in the square 10 meters from the entrance. Absolutely recommended experience!

Small place and therefore not very crowded. Few tables and quite far from each other, which avoids having to hear the chatter of other guests. Very kind service and rather simple dishes, but very tasty. I would go back without a doubt.

Lontani, ma non lontanissimi, dal delirio invivibile della Sirmione del ponte di maggio… Un’oasi di tranquillità e di bontà. Trovi quel che cerchi e lo trovi proprio come lo vorresti. Un antipasto di lago che ti propone tre splendide istantanee lacustri, bigoli con le sarde come caposaldo della tradizione, tagliolini al ragù di lago un po’ troppo piacioni e ruffianelli ma godibili e corretti. Se un riné biologico, uno splendido Benaco bresciano di poderosa freschezza ti ha aiutato a colmare tutti gli spazi di un pancino pur capiente…scegli a tuo gusto un dolce dalla carta, lo accompagni con un bicchiere di recioto e te ne vai più che soddisfatto, dopo aver pagato un conto più che corretto, disposto anche a sfiorare il delirante e tentacolare gorgo metropolitano di Sirmione.

Siamo andati su consiglio di colleghi della zona, è fuori dal centro e devi proprio cercarlo per trovarlo, il locale si vede che è curato, i piatti anche, ed il personale è gentile. Si sono molto prodigati con mio figlio di 4 anni per fare trovare torta con scritta “buon compleanno” a mio marito. Il cibo era buono, piatti curati, vale la pena l’antipasto misto di pesce, davvero buono, mentre l’antipasto di polentine niente di che e soprattutto molto caro per il piatto che è. Primi di pesce molto buoni e dolci anche. Prezzo leggermente alto considerando la posizione. Nel complesso ci sta, è stato un pranzo piacevole e soprattutto abbiamo schivato le “trappole da turisti!”
