One of the few restaurants run by Italians in Venice. They offer an à la carte menu and a set menu, which we ordered for €18 each. The dishes are well-cooked, and the owners are very friendly. It's just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square.

We went on the recommendation of the Marina guidebook. It's a bar where gondoliers, tour guides, and other locals eat. It has a very homey atmosphere, so you don't feel out of place. We went two days and ordered the set menu. It includes a starter, first and second courses, potatoes and salad, dessert, and a small glass of wine. Drinks and coffee are extra. We ordered spaghetti with clams and seafood rice as starters, and fried fish for our main courses. Everything is very good, but the portions are a bit small. Keep in mind that it's very well located, and you pay for that. The owner speaks Spanish, which makes things much easier.

What a beautiful place. Wide selection of dishes. Traditional restaurant frequented by gondoliers and Venetians. Full lunch for €20. Not to be missed. We know it's certainly not a Michelin-starred restaurant... but much better, a homey atmosphere. Congratulations.

02/01/2026: The pizza was okay for the price, but the guy supposedly didn't understand my order (I only wanted a slice, not the whole pizza) and when he handed me the slice I still had to ask for the difference back, otherwise I would have paid for the whole pizza, because of him.
