Excellent experience of traditional Italian cuisine. Excellent restaurant in the center of Florence next to the Vasari corridor. Special mention for the homemade bread. Well-stocked cabin. Delicious Livorno-style cod and creamed cod. Absolutely worth trying. Price appropriate to the quality of the food. We'll be back

This is some of the best food that I’ve had in Italy. I would travel back to Florence just to eat there again. The food was amazing and flavourful, and the service was just as good with everyone ready to assist or even just have a conversation. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great meal in Florence.

Better than great food. Instead of a chef I think they have a wizard in back doing the cooking. Service, location and atmosphere were amazing, but the food… o the food.

Having eaten at Celestino for over 15 years, we did not know what to expect our first time back after it came under new ownership. That we were astounded by the changes is an understatement. This is now one of the restaurants that you must not miss while in Florence! The menu is extensive, offering both Florentine classics and innovative new dishes, all prepared to perfection. The staff was amazing; friendly, accomodating, and knowledgeable. The new owner, Leon, has both honored and improved the legacy of Celestino.

We ate here again and again during our week in Florence. The food is great, there is a wide choice of Tuscan specialities, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the owner is very attentive. The location in a small square near the ponte veccio is lovely and not too busy.
