Trattoria Cecio In Roma

We had dinner at Cecio's on Friday evening and returned again on Saturday. Excellent Roman cuisine, a lovely place run by young people. Simone and the entire staff were attentive and very kind. Highly recommended, best to book.

I’m visiting Rome for a few days and stumbled upon Trattoria Cecio — what a find! Two of us decided to dine inside after being greeted by the staff, who were all so kind and welcoming even though the place was clearly busy. We were seated almost right away, which was a pleasant surprise. We started with the bruschetta con fonduta di pecorino e cicoria — creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we tried the Ravioli con Cacio e Pepe and Fettuccine Vongole e Tartufo. Both dishes were outstanding — simple, rich, and full of that comforting homemade taste. I’m no expert in Italian food, just a happy tourist, but this has been the best meal I’ve had since arriving in Rome three days ago. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

My friends and I took a tour of Rome and among all the restaurants in the area we chose Cecio, I must say that in addition to the hospitality of the guys serving, the really very tasty dishes we were satisfied and we will return soon

Had dinner at this trattoria. The gricia was phenomenal, congratulations. Excellent service. Beautiful venue. I recommend the Amaro Formidabile, a typical Roman liqueur, to finish. It's spectacular. The price is truly excellent.

We had a lovely mean at this restaurant one evening in September. It is not a fancy place, it is a simple trattoria and it does everything well. The service is quick and efficient and the food is simple, tasty and well priced. I actually had one of the best cacio e pepe mains I have had for a long time, very simple dish I know but when it goes wrong it goes very wrong.....

Il 17 maggio ho mangiato alla Trattoria Il Cecio a Roma e ho notato che la ragazza di Cuneo che mangiava da sola al tavolo accanto al mio, dopo aver pagato (lasciando anche una mancia di 5 euro), si è alzata lasciando sul tavolo quello che mi sembra un gancio porta borsa. Se lo stai cercando, sappi che lo hai dimenticato proprio lì!
