We had lunch at this trattoria on December 18th and it was a real treat! The sweet and sour sardines were absolutely delicious and the spaghetti alle vongole was divine... On a sunny day, sitting on the terrace must be perfect 🤗 Thank you again!

This was the restaurant where I ate the best pasta of all my 21 days in Italy. I invite all Brazilians to visit this place, which is simple in its atmosphere and sophisticated in its food. The price is more than fair and the food is perfect. The service is very friendly; in short, in my opinion, it's a must-visit place in Venice. Oh, and their Tiramisu is divine.

If you wanna eat very good traditional Italian kitchen out of touristic specialized roads, just go here. Very tasty, friendly staff, quite atmosphere out of Venetian rush.

Beautiful local restaurant. They were willing to custom make special dishes for my kids. A husband and wife team, they provided excellent service. Definitely recommend. We walked home with a lovely bottle of wine, which they gifted us for New Year's and as a beautiful remembrance. This is a wonderful local restaurant. They even made a special dish for our children, which was really touching. Run by a husband and wife team, the service was very attentive and warm. I highly recommend this restaurant. On our way home, they even gifted us a beautiful bottle of red wine to celebrate New Year's. It made us so happy!

The muscles were absolutely delicious. Perhaps the best I’ve had. The wine was delightful and the tiramisu was clearly homemade, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted, quiet, local, not appealing to tourists but to regulars who want a good meal in peace. Everyone I saw was thoroughly enjoying their meals. I highly recommend if you are looking for a local authentic experience. This is not a TikTok tourist place but an authentic experience! I look forward to my next meal here!

02/01/2026: We decided to entrust Cicala with our wedding on June 1, 2025. What we initially liked was definitely the location, but what really convinced us was the menu. Pino and the Cicala staff were simply fantastic in managing the day, preparing the room, and everything else. We chose the fish menu and were very satisfied, as the food prepared (from the appetizer to the food served in the room to the dessert – for which we entrusted Pino) ​​was excellent and plentiful. Our guests were all delighted and satisfied – even those with special needs/meat menus. The room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 100 people, and the garden with pool is ideal for aperitifs and the post-event party. Thank you!
27/12/2025: Situated in a pleasant environment and with large dining rooms for groups. The atmosphere was good, but the food and service subpar. The quality of the food was especially disappointing. The polenta was drenched in a tomato paste-based shrimp sauce not worthy of an Italian kitchen. The fish was not fresh. Even the bread was old. The millefeuille with cream and chocolate was very good. The service was subpar, too fast, and sloppy.

Osteria Ai Do Pozzi - Dae Fie

08/01/2026: 5 stars because if you want authentic Venetian cuisine and uncompromising fresh seafood, this is the place! It's a friendly osteria frequented by Venetians and tourists alike for years. They've been open for 9 years. I pass through Venice every year, and every year I visit them: Manuela, Alessandro, and Alberto!
04/01/2026: I highly recommend this place for: the freshest, not frozen, fish; the friendly and professional waiters and chef; and the comfortable atmosphere typical of a Venetian osteria. Prices are average, but given the freshness of the ingredients, they're absolutely competitive. Ultimately, I highly recommend this place and definitely worth a visit... and I'll return as often as I can: an undisputed benchmark for Venetian cuisine.
