Small holiday in the beautiful Tolmezzo, they recommended this place to me and I really appreciated the good pizza, excellent dough and ingredients as well as the special beers and also the delicious tiramisu, friendly and helpful staff, congratulations 👏

Cozy place, we had dinner outside, under a characteristic gazebo. The best cjarsons eaten in the area (we tried several), we tasted the famous meatballs, and those too exceeded expectations. Excellent meat, a tasty roast, which melts in the mouth with perfect baked potatoes, generous portions. The boy who looked after us was impeccable, kind and available to some requests. Average prices, excellent place that we highly recommend.

Last night we had dinner at Da Modesto. A large menu of pizzas but coming from outside we opted for traditional Friulian dishes. As an appetizer I chose cabbage and bacon with fried frico (don't make my mistake, taste the frico first and then the cabbage since there is vinegar the flavor of the frico could be hidden). I continued with a second course of frico with polenta (be careful, frico is very hot). All accompanied with a house wine, a white Friulano.

This place was a nice surprise. The pizza was really good and full of ingredients! I had a good time.
Abbiamo gustato degli ottimi antipasti (tartare di manzo tagliata a coltello e polpette di Modesto su letto di cavolo cappuccio) e primi (gnocchetti alla crema di asparagi e agnolotti alle erbe) accompagnati da un buon vino bianco friulano della casa. L'ambiente è accogliente e molto piacevole.
