We had 3 bruschettas with mushrooms, bresaola and mozzarella and once the buffalo mozzarella as a starter.
Afterwards we had the ricotta ravioli with ginger and lime three times, the fish ravioli once and the seafood spaghetti once and, as a sweet finish, tiramisu. Every single dish was really good and you could tell the quality of the basic ingredients. We always enjoy coming here (at least once a year for a day trip from Vorarlberg (AT).)

I would also like to give the ambience a 5, but I want to do it correctly. The food here is divine. from a-z. We stayed in Cannobio for 3 nights and ate here twice. simply 10 out of 10. couldn't be better. Also the service, 10 out of 10 and the location, I really liked it because I didn't miss anything. We sat at a table for 4 in the middle and thanks to the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, I didn't miss a single glance. That's why I give it four stars for the location.
I will never come to Cannobio without eating at Ale & Vale. I love it.

A really nice restaurant where we ate very well. 4 courses and all good, friendly, competent and very honest staff, very good wine. Definitely worth coming back!

Trovato per caso passeggiando per le viuzze di Cannobio, come al solito essendo allergica all'aglio avviso il personale che in maniera molto professionale ha chiamato Ale che ha subito dimostrato la sua competenza nel settore, specificando che avrebbe avvisato la cucina anche per un eventuale contaminazione da contatto. La scelta è andata sui tortelli piemontesi fatti in casa in salsa di noci, veramente buoni e la quantità superiore alla media dei ristoranti della zona. Volevo mantenermi ma non ho resistito nel provare il Bruschettone pomodoro e mozzarella ottimo, sia nella scelta del pane e dei due ingredienti che erano di ottima qualità. My husband and I had a lovely meal here. The friendly service and delicious food were the best we found in Cannobio.
We were greeted by a glass of Prosecco, we ordered the meat and cheese plate to share and ravioli caprese and fried fish for main course. Tiramisu and lemon sorbet dessert followed by coffee finished our meal perfectly and then we were offered a limoncello. What a perfect way to spend an evening.
