Excellent dinner featuring local produce, excellent wine, and attentive, friendly service. Good value for money. Recommended.

Absolutely positive experience, slightly expensive, but worth the investment

Edit after 2 years of visits; I trust the sommelier with my immortal soul. Excellent trattoria, the food is outstanding, definitely a “must visit” if you’re around the area. Service was casual, they let the dishes do the talking. It took a while to order drinks, and the wine menu wasn’t immediately given, so when I eventually decided what to drink they didn’t have the bottle, etc etc. This is more my problem than the restaurants, I’ll know for next time! However! I noticed that nobody had the wine menu, so I think perhaps ordering is more commonly based on pairing recommendations from the waiting staff, than actually choosing yourself. The food is outstanding and I think the price is really honest. The outdoor terrace area is beautiful too, it’s just a great place.

For a leisurely dinner in a great atmosphere.

We had lunch at this restaurant and the experience was truly excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, with delicate yet well-balanced flavors. The location is very elegant and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

There was no problem finding a table – it's not crowded midweek. The menu is based primarily on fish. We ordered pasta alle vongole and pesce spada (swordfish) with a side salad. Unfortunately, the pasta was practically unseasoned, the fish was quite small, and the salad turned out to be a simple mixed leaf salad with a few cherry tomatoes, without any olive oil or spices. We were served water (€3) and a basket of breadsticks and bread. The wine list was handwritten, but some items were still unavailable. Overall impression: the food was average, the service lacked any real enthusiasm, and the prices were decidedly high for the standard offered. It's also worth remembering that the coperto (€3) is charged per person – in our case, €6.

Scegliamo la Trattoria Caico da sempre per importanti ricorrenze ma anche per il piacere di gustare le loro prelibatezze con familiari e amici.   Cibo raffinato e di grande qualità,  pesce freschissimo, dessert deliziosi e un'atmosfera accogliente, un’infinita selezione di vini, liquori, spumanti sapientemente consigliati in abbinamento ad ogni piatto. Consiglio  questo ristorante perché si mangia davvero bene!
