Recommended to us by the host of our b&b, a retro place but with excellent quality food. The mixed seafood as a starter is highly recommended... very good and all fresh. The wine list is nothing short of spacey, they know how to make themselves loved by wine lovers. I have celiac disease and they also had gluten free pasta option. Overall excellent even if the prices are quite high.

Restaurant found on Google maps and tried for the first time. The place is nice, characterized by the typical cellar setting but the welcome was cold (unfortunately like in many Sicilian restaurants in tourist locations). When ordering the wine, exactly what we had chosen was missing. The starter took 45 minutes to arrive even though it wasn't completely full, but the starter arrived in the right time. The first seafood risotto, in my opinion, the rice was a little overcooked, but the portions were quite generous. After the first one we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. Prices a little high for a restaurant. So not recommended.

Ristorante molto curato. Bella location e buon servizio. Anche se il menù non era molto ampio, ogni piatto che abbiamo ordinato si è rivelato eccellente. Ottimi prezzi. Consigliatissimo!

Very fresh product and good atmosphere. I recommend the Caponata di Pez Espada. It has a not very high score and we didn't trust it very much, but it far exceeded our expectations. We ate the squid (very fresh) with vegetables (delicious) and the caponata (spectacular). We had dinner on the terrace and it was very good. I highly recommend this site

Excellent dinner and wonderful service

Let's start by eating very well...

We went without references and we loved it. Well prepared and presented dishes. The staff is very friendly and professional and the place is very cozy.

First of all, we need to specify one thing: in Italian, a "trattoria" is a cheap and somewhat informal family-run restaurant. In Agrigento, however, it obviously means something else, since both Caico and - even more so - the "Trattoria dei Templi" are elegant restaurants, despite their name. The Caico restaurant is located a few steps from San Leone beach; on Saturdays it could be difficult to find parking (you can park for free on the Lido, next to the white awning, about 300 meters away from the venue). For some time now the restaurant has specialized in fish dishes: the house starter is super abundant (among other things, if you order it a whole octopus will be brought to you!), my guests appreciated the bruschetta cod, but I really liked the tuna caponata; as a first course I took the aubergine and swordfish cavatelli, very tasty even if I would have added a little more sauce; for dessert, blancmange (a typically Sicilian milk pudding) covered with orange marmalade (good and aromatic, although I would have preferred lemon marmalade or, alternatively, chocolate). Large selection of wines, which I have not tasted, however. Quite generous portions. Final price: starter + first course + dessert + drinks = €50.

The food was excellent while I found the service a little "distracted" by other more attractive tables....
