Nice ambiance, and there's free parking within a few minutes' walk.
Service is friendly and quick.
The food is a bit more expensive and the portions are comparatively smaller. Nevertheless, it was very tasty.

Today we had a very interesting culinary and wine experience. I recommend all lovers of good food and good wine to stop in this wonderful restaurant. Also, near our table, a wine expert delighted us with his knowledge.

Lovely ambience. Fish of the day was overcooked. Octopus Bolognese was a bit disappointing.
For better food go to Doctor Fish a bit up the road.

May 2025, finally a real restaurant! Not noisy, impeccable service, attentive (true maître d'hôtel) but not stuffy, perfect cuisine and some inventive dishes, far from the clichés of Italian... or Sicilian cuisine.
Lunch on the shaded terrace (local clientele), without outside noise, and in the evening (reservations required in the dining room) (mostly Anglo-Saxon clientele). Well recommended for the wine... without "blowing up" the bill.

Truly wonderful! Kind, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful interior and exterior, and the food, delicious! Especially the caponata!

We went to this trattoria on the advice of Domingo, the very kind host of the B&B San Leone, and we can only thank him! An authentic place, with Sicilian cuisine, genuine flavors and impeccable service. An experience that we happily recommend!

Scegliamo la Trattoria Caico da sempre per importanti ricorrenze ma anche per il piacere di gustare le loro prelibatezze con familiari e amici. Cibo raffinato e di grande qualità, pesce freschissimo, dessert deliziosi e un'atmosfera accogliente, un’infinita selezione di vini, liquori, spumanti sapientemente consigliati in abbinamento ad ogni piatto. Consiglio questo ristorante perché si mangia davvero bene!

Su consiglio dei ragazzi del FAI ai giardini Kolymbetra veniamo indirizzato a questo ristorante sul mare che altrimenti non avremmo mai scoperto.
Pranzo veloce uan caponata ed una parmigiana di melanzane e due ottimi secondi involtini alla siciliana e baccalà.
Decisamente una bella scoperta e dimenticavo... uno scorso del 10% per i clienti FAI.
