A pretty good restaurant with local Tuscan dishes, recommended by our guidebook, and we weren't disappointed. The prices are slightly higher than you might find elsewhere, but it's true that we're in the center of town, so that justifies the cost. They have some very famous dishes like spaghetti with wild boar, gnocchi, and the famous soup with bread in it.

This trattoria is close to the visitor attractions and was recommended by our walking tour guide. Service is warm and efficient. Food has a home-cooked, personal feel to it. I came here twice during my stay in Florence! Note, it isn’t open on Mondays (or at least it wasn’t on Monday 26th January).

What can I say? We stumbled upon it by chance or by luck. We were greeted with a warm, homely welcome. The food was excellent and the price/quality ratio was good. Highly recommended!

We went to Trattoria Buzzino on the recommendation of our Airbnb host, and it was hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in Florence. We were welcomed so warmly, and the atmosphere was wonderful—Italian music, heartfelt hospitality, and food that felt like hugs.

I came across this restaurant upon leaving the Uffizi Gallery and rest assured you will love the food and the atmosphere. I ordered a simple pasta and it was mind-blowin. Their bruschetta, albeit simple, was our out of this world.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the waiter was very attentive. When we went to pay, we saw a €2 charge listed twice. Thinking it was for bread (which we only had once), we mentioned it to the waiter, and he deducted it when it was actually the cover charge. How embarrassing! By the time we realized our mistake, we were too far away to return and have it charged. If we ever go back to Florence, this will definitely be the first restaurant we visit. 100% recommended! P.S. We hope your business does incredibly well; you deserve it!

My wife and I stumbled upon Trattoria Buzzino after visiting the Uffizi Gallery.
We were greeted like friends and immediately felt welcome. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. Everything was delicious. Traditional Tuscan cuisine in generous portions. Excellent value. A wonderful experience.

Danilo and Bettina welcomed me with with warmth, sincerity and kindness. As a sole traveller, it can be quite awkward when you enter a restaurant of such culture, artistic presence and atmosphere but from the second I walked in, they ushered me to a table with great enthusiasm and energy. The food is exceptional and I have since been back a second time. Somehow they found out that I was a musician and I ended up performing for the whole restaurant and stayed until around 1:30am! Danilo and Bettina will be my friends for life.

Decent restaurant behind Palazzo Vecchio.
The owner is very friendly.
Fairly standard food. Eggs with truffles are good, crostini served cold, and the fillet steak is good.
