Trattoria Buenza In San giovanni rotondo

Pranzo di lavoro. Il posto si presenta alla buona non certo una trattoria accogliente. Il personale e il servizio seppure cortese quasi improvvisato. Ma il cibo e’ buono. Abbiamo mangiato pesce, porzioni abbondanti materia prima buona e complessivamente un buon pranzo che risolleva le sorti. Conto forse un po’ caro per l’insieme e per la posizione ma non conosco i prezzi della zona.

Not the usual tourist menu... everything excellent: simple, homemade cuisine. The menu costs 20 euros for first and second courses with abundant side dishes, covered water and coffee included. Excellent service, with attention to the smallest details: from the table linen, to the zero km organic oil, the sauces and condiments brought to the table, to the payment at the table. If you want to eat homemade food, spending the right amount, you can stop here!

Trattoria only in name and location: nothing exceptional!! At the "feet of Padre Pio" as soon as you come down from the town... but the food: super! It's a real restaurant: very fresh local products! From buffalo mozzarella to raw ham and local meat!! Abundant seafood first courses; succulent second courses of meat and fresh fish!! Affable and friendly staff, very prepared to welcome "Sunday tourists" or (like us pilgrims of San Pio) on a Wednesday on the eve of the August holiday! €50 per person well spent!! Compliments! We will definitely be back...

Excellent quality/quantity and price ratio

Polite and courteous staff, available upon request for information. Excellent grilled meat and fish, unsurpassed orecchiette. It's a shame that the location, despite being in a position that could offer a breathtaking view, fails to express its potential. More than fair price.

Today, while visiting the sanctuary of San Giovanni Rotondo, we decided to have lunch in this restaurant located a few kilometers from the town. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and has seating both outside and inside the restaurant. We had lunch inside because the temperatures were really high. It was recommended to me and it was a nice discovery. It is possible to have both meat and fish based dishes but everything is really of excellent quality. We had an excellent appetizer, a seafood first course and a mixed fry Even with meat everything was very good I highly recommend it Excellent value for money and very friendly staff.

The food is excellent and the dishes are plentiful. The staff are polite and precise. I recommend it....

Ci sono stato a cena con amici ieri sera, un sabato di Luglio, e abbiamo provato tutto: pesce, carne e pizza. Io non ho mai scritto recensioni in vita mia, questa è la prima, ma ho sentito il bisogno di farlo perché non mi spiego assolutamente tutte queste recensioni negative, che hanno rischiato di farci cambiare locale, nonostante ci fosse stato vivamente consigliato. Be', meno male che non l'abbiamo fatto! Cibo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti, servizio velocissimo (nonostante fosse pieno), camerieri gentilissimi e molto presenti, prezzo assolutamente giusto (e di questi tempi è una rarità). Andateci e non ve ne pentirete!
