A basic but welcoming place The food was delicious. I ate very well, but if I had to give it a 10, I'd give it to the rabbit with chestnuts. The lady in the kitchen makes you feel at home. The desserts are a little less so, but that's all I can say. Il Bosco Trattoria. Stop by without hesitation.

An excellent trattoria about 60 km from Milan, just under a kilometer from a bend in the Po River, which marks one of the borders between Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. We stumbled upon it by chance after visiting the fascinating Chignolo Po Castle, about a 10-minute drive away. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, with rustic yet tasteful furnishings. The staff is courteous and very efficient, and service is surprisingly prompt despite the large number of guests. The typical local menu consists of a few dishes, all of which are of excellent quality. Specialties include the pisarei with beans, the stew, the lamb stew with artichokes, and the mascarpone and chocolate tart. Trattoria-style prices. Reservations are much better on weekends. Highly recommended.

After visiting the Chignolo Po Castle, we went to lunch at the Bosco restaurant. The place is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely.

Polenta and cold cuts, as well as good first courses There's little for vegetarians.

Everything was excellent, including the service. Prices were in line with the quality. Recommended.
