A traditional setting, excellent home cooking, and truly friendly and helpful staff. Prices are more than fair. Given these conditions, it's worth booking.

Historic Trattoria Restaurant. I've known it for years when it was open in the evenings and you could also enjoy Rane (rane). Now it's open for lunch (I usually take a break from work), but the quality and flavor haven't changed. A typical Bolognese menu with a few dessert options and coffee at a very fair price. The Bortolotti family and all the staff are always friendly, helpful, very patient, and professional. What more could you want?

Traditional Bolognese cuisine, friendly service, and speed are the perfect accompaniment to good food. Special note: open for lunch only. First courses include the gramigna, tortelloni, and the ever-present tagliatelle. For second courses, the shin of pork stands out, a true must, but the rest is also delicious.

I've been away for a long time...but time stood still there...amazing cuisine and exceptional hospitality...not to mention the high level of professionalism... They have been, and (I'm convinced) always will be, the pinnacle of trattorias serving excellent "Italo-Emilian" cuisine.

Yesterday I was in Calderara for my niece's national figure skating championships and for lunch I went to this wonderful typical trattoria. I have to say everything was excellent, the dishes were simple and tasty, the staff were very kind and the prices were fair. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again... thanks again for your kindness.

07/07/2026: I liked it; the place is refined but not pretentious, intimate and pleasant. The quality/price ratio is also good. Their specialty is snails and fried frogs, but they have a good selection of other dishes. Recommended.
